Luxurious renovation, stunning location in the Quantocks, master bedroom with en-suite, underfloor heating throughout, sleeps up to 5 people. Sun drenched south facing courtyard with glorious views towards the quantock hills and over our farm, spacious open plan living downstairs, modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave, electric oven and hob. Highchair and cot available on request. Selection of DVD's and books.

Meadow View Stable Cottage

Meadow View Cottage is situated next door to Stable Cottage and has recently been renovated and refurbished to a luxurious standard with open plan living downstairs and underfloor heating throughout. It has stunning views over our farm and The Quantock Hills and is a short walk to The West Somerset Steam Railway at Crowcombe Station as well as the Quantock Hills, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, picnics and walking. The two properties are ideal for families or parties. Both cottages are situated ideally for the hills, coast or to take a day trip to the city of Bath, Bristol or Exeter.

Several years ago we bought Coursley Farm and over a period of time the farmhouse and barns have been lovingly restored to create an atmosphere of a timeless haven. Having travelled the world extensively and been in the area as well as the hospitality industry, we feel that we are well equipped to cater for your needs, providing accommodation of a luxury standard with all the modern necessities of everyday living.

There are two cottages side by side enabling possibilities for larger families or groups.

Leave the M5 Motorway junction 25 and take the A358 to Minehead, proceed on the A358 for about 11 miles,bypassing Bishops Lydeard, West Bagbrough, Nethercott and Trebles Holford,coming to a sign on left saying Lydeard St Lawrence (2miles) and Crowcombe Station,proceed until sharp left hand bend - go down No Through Road,Coursley Farm at end! DO NOT GO INTO MY NEIGHBOURS AT COURSLEY COTTAGE OR THE STABLES BUT GO THROUGH THE WHITE GATE TO COURSLEY FARM AND DRIVE PAST THE WHITE FARMHOUSE AND INTO THE YARD AT THE BACK WHERE THE HOLIDAY LETS ARE! WELCOME YOU ARE HERE!

Taunton Mainline Train Station - roughly 20mins drive

M5 Motorway Juntion 25 (Taunton)

Coast/Beach:

For North Devon (good surfing) and South Devon Coasts it is roughly 40mins - 1hr drive or beaches like Minehead, Dunster, Bossington and Kilve (which are great for fossil hunting) are no more than 20 mins. Stunning coastal walks and 9,000 acres of beautiful moorland, not forgetting cream teas!

Taunton - 11miles, Bishops Lydeard - 5miles West Somerset Railway, Dunster - 20mins drive with Dunster Castle, Beach and Steam Railway, Kilve Beach 15mins, Minehead 20mins with Butlins (great for day trips!), Quantock Hills on doorstep(great for mountain biking, walking for miles (coleridge way), horse riding (down road), Golf Courses (down the road and many within short drive) Somerset Levels - 35mins, Exeter City 40mins, Bath City 1.5hrs drive (visit The Roman Baths) Bristol City 1hr drive.

Coursley Farm is situated in the Quantock Hills - designated as an area of outstanding beauty, making this the ideal location for walking, mountain biking, horse riding or just general relaxation. Exmoor is also within easy reach! The West Somerset Steam Railway from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead, stopping at the famous Dunster Castle and Beach and Crowcombe Station only a short walk from Coursley Farm, makes this another added feature. The cities of Bath, Exeter, Bristol and Wells are easily accessible and our local County town of Somerset (Taunton), 20 mins away. There are many leisure activities available such as Golf, fishing, sailing, windsurfing etc. (see our website!). If it's good food you are after there are many great pubs and restaurants nearby as well as many places to sample a somerset cream tea! Supplies can be sourced nearby in the village of Bishops Lydeard and the small town of Williton where you have everything from supermarkets, local butchers to farm shops or many of the major supermarkets will deliver. Somerset is a diverse county, having many things to offer from the stunning hills and moors, the somerset levels and not forgetting the famous Kilve Beach for fossil hunting - right on our doorstep!
