Set in a conservation area in the pretty town of Penarth, the cottage is very easy to access both on public transport and by car. The cottage has everything you need for a short break. It is a great base for exploring the area as well as being comfortable to come back to at the end of the day. Modern insulation makes it very cosy inside and the garden is lovely to sit out in on warmer evenings. It is on a quiet street but is minutes away from Penarth's sea front, restaurants and coffee shops and only a short train ride from Cardiff in one direction and Barry Island in the other.

About Cathie Jackson and Julia Nasrallah
Welcome to our holiday home. I (Julia) work for the British Council overseas and stay in Trehafod with my family whenever we pop back to the UK for a visit. We hope that you will enjoy your holiday in our home. Our favourite activities when in Penarth are walking on the beautiful clifftops for some peace or over the barrage to the restaurants and cafes of Cardiff Bay. We always try and make sure we see a show at the Millennium Centre and there are no shortage of activities to keep the children happy during our stays. Because we are away our friend Cathie takes care of everything as she lives near-by. So if you want to talk to someone in person she is on hand to answer queries.

Lovely property, shower very good and comfy sofas (which isn't often the case in holiday lets).
We spent three nights in this adorable, well-appointed cottage. It has all the conveniences we could want, and more, such as DVD's and board games. It was a perfect base for exploring the Cardiff area without the crowds of Cardiff. The town of Penarth is lovely and everything we needed was within walking distance of the cottage.
A very cosy cottage
We had a lovely weekend staying here. It came with all the essentials apart from towels. Very easy to get into town from.
Great property and location. Everything was in good condition and worked well. Will be booking it again Thank you so much
