Perfect Pissouri property
Amarisa proved to be the perfect base to visit the island, providing generous accommodation just a few minutes walk from the village centre. An east facing patio was the ideal setting for an early breakfast in the warmth of a late autumn sun....and for that early evening sundowner. We wanted to cook on charcoal during our stay and Mandy was kind enough to buy a traditional Cypriot foukou for us. Pissouri never fails to deliver whatever time of the year.
Many thanks Steve for your fantastic comments. So happy that Amarisa met the needs of you and your party.
Mandy & Brian
A homely, very well equipped and beautifully maintained town house, with lovely views
Firstly, Mandy was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had a smooth and enjoyable holiday. The house is very well situated less than 5 minutes walk from a charming village and has lovely views from many of the rooms. It is very well maintained and equipped and extremely comfortable, it also has lovely neighbours The village has many good restaurants, a couple can rival big city standards. The pool is very pleasant and well maintained. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing holiday.
Beautiful, immaculate, very child friendly, brilliant location
We absolutely loved our stay at Amarisa. It is a really beautiful house in a lovely location and is so family friendly (we stayed with two young children and it was perfect!). Located a short walk from the main village centre it is perfectly situated, close enough yet still in a very quiet spot. We cannot fault our stay, the house is immaculate and has everything you would need to make your stay very comfortable.
We chose Amarisa because it looked fabulous on the holiday rentals website and we weren’t disappointed. Mandy and Brian’s home is extremely well maintained and provides everything you could possibly need. The house is in a good location just a short walk to the village that has lots of good restaurants and it’s a five minute drive to Pissouri Beach. We visited Paphos and Omodos while we were there but realised that a week is not enough as there is so much more we want to see so are already arranging a return trip for next year.
A superb place to stay
Amarisa is in a great location to explore Cyprus. The house itself is very clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Lots of good restaurants just a five minute walk away and concerts at the amphitheater are an added attraction.
Mandy was very helpful with recommendations and the whole process was seemless.
We will definitely be returning!
A truly stunning property with all the home comforts you could possibly want.
Pissouri beach is a blue flag beach & only a five minute drive from the house. The beach is clean & well maintained with changing & shower facilities. There are a number of shops, Tavernas, diving centre, water sports. Parasols & sunbeds can be hired for a nominal charge. Along the coast and within easy reach are several other beaches, again with good facilities & Tavernas.
Paphos airport is a fifteen minute drive away from the house and Larnaca is approx one hour. Pissouri is within easy reach of the motorway and well signposted. The motorways are easy, well signposted and not congested. Car hire is recommended for site seeing.
Paphos is about 34km from Pissouri and has lots of historical interest. The old part of Paphos is characteristic and has lots of places to eat & drink. Aphrodite's rock is about 10 minutes drive and the sunsets are beautiful.
A visit to the quaint Omodos village in the troodos mountains is a must and a Meze at the Walnut tree taverna is highly recommended.
The village & beach have a number of bars & tavernas for you to enjoy. There are two small supermarkets, a butchers, two banks, a greengrocers, car hire, and three ATM's. During the summer on a Wednesday there is a "Cyprus night" with traditional dancing & music. Booking is essential. Along the streets leading from the square you will find some friendly bars where you can enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. There are also some excellent Cypriot take-away and pancake stalls.
