On one of the most picturesque walking streets along the Côte d'Azur. I wish I had a Euro for every picture someone has taken a picture of my house. Around the corner is the Cathedral, Musee' Picasso, and Marche' Provençal. Short distances to Nice, Cannes and an hour train to Italy. A perfect location to enjoy the south of France.
Antibes for me is magical....I enjoy all my neighbours who are French, Swiss, and Swedish. The village multi national. As I was an American ex pat in Asia and Europe for 12 years, I find living a European life several times a year a wonderful balance. My little dog Bubba is a jet setter to travelling with me and loves to meet all the other dogs. He makes me walk him several times a day and it is such a beautiful place to be on the sea. It is beautiful 12 months a year.
Nancy Mina purchased this house in 2006
There are very few houses (not apartments) with direct view of the sea. It is in the middle of old village so there is no need for a car and with a private entrance, I found peace and serenity.
A big plus is that it is such a short distance from the airport after a long haul flight!
The house is in the center and on sea so views of regattas, sunrises, full moons, yachts and the alps. 200 meters to restaurants, Marche Provencale, museums...
Unique in antibes is that there are only 15 properties with sea views in this location on the remparts...
I have been going to Antibes for many years and have been renting Nancy's house regularly for the past 8 years. She's totally great! and the maisonette (little house) is so charming and wonderful!....Every morning you wake up to a view of the Sea from your bedroom and you can have a glass of wine with delicious French cheeses on the 2nd floor balcony. You can't beat the location: you can see the beach from your window; the marché - a fabulous covered market filled with fresh produce is around the corner. The train station is a 15min walk - and in one hour you can be having lunch in Italy!.....10mins to Cannes; 15mins to Nice......sandy beaches. And Nancy, the owner is very friendly and easy to deal with. ... What can I say - I love Antibes and love this adorable little house by the sea.

A characterful, charming holiday house in a fantastic location overlooking the sea in Antibes.
The house is compact, but offers plenty of room with all the facilities you need for a great holiday. The property was very clean and there was plenty of hot water. We used the kitchen to cook several meals, it was lovely to enjoy them on the balcony with the wonderful view.
Antibes is a charming town and we found no need to have a car for our stay as the train and bus services are easy and cheap to use. Monaco, Nice, Eze, Cannes and Vence are all in easy travelling range, we used Uber to go to Vence and to and from Nice airport.
The owner was very good at keeping in touch to ensure everthing was ok. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends and we plan to return.
Nancy's house is a charming, beautifully decorated little home in one of the best locations for accessing all that Old Antibes has to offer. It is situated right on the battlements with just a small road separating you from the Mediterranean. In addition a very, very short walk takes you to the central produce market and just a couple of doors down is the Picasso Museum.
The house is extremely small, by American standards, but has all the required mod cons, and is perfect for a couple. It is set on three levels, with the bedroom being on the top floor so something to consider if stairs are a problem. We didn't find this to be the case for us -despite being in our sixties- and our favorite part was waking up in the morning and seeing the exquisite view of the sea and yachts from our bed on the top floor.
Nancy is a wonderful host, and after the initial confusion over check-in, greeted us with a chilled bottle of rose! In addition there was a beautiful vase of fresh roses left for us to enjoy on the breakfast table.. Lovely touches..
highly, highly recommend....
I stayed at Nancy's lovely maisonette for seven weeks this spring with my little dog. Lucky us! I never tired of waking up with a view of the Mediterranean and Coco too was pretty attached to her sunny spot on the balcony watching people strolling by the sea. I had to pinch myself when I walked out the door, looked to the left and caught a glimpse of snow-capped mountains in the distance. Gorgeous. The house was very comfortable with everything provided. Antibes is a great town and the market is literally a 2 minute walk from house. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by and public transport is convenient. Nancy was always available to answer any questions. Needless to say, this house comes highly recommended!
We had spotted this little gem during a previous visit to Antibes and were thrilled to find it was available for rent. We were so convinced by its location, the utter charm of the place and the immediate and friendly correspondence from Nancy, the owner, that we confidently booked it for four weeks. Nothing disappointed us. A home from home. The surrounding old town is packed full of colour, local produce, restaurants, cafes and bars. The cobbled streets, the ramparts by the marina and the local beaches provide daily destinations just to delight you, and the Mediterranean offers meditative views at all times. For art lovers you have the trails of Matisse, Chagall, Renoir , Picasso. For devotees of picturesque villages there are the nearby 'villages perche' of St Paul de Vence, Gourdon, La Tourbie and Eze. For picnickers there are the islands, only a short boat trip away from Cannes or Jean Les Pins. For brocante (flea market) lovers, well, there's one to be found in some local town or other almost every day of the week. And we haven't yet mentioned the sun, the cloudless skies, the night stars - all viewed throughout the day from the balcony; accompanied by coffees, croissants, olives, tapenades, baguettes, wines, port and brandy nightcaps. A place of sweet dreams, indeed. To ensure a re-run of the Antibes' adventure for ourselves and Dave the dog, we booked our return for 2016 before we had even finished packing for our departure!

Gorgeous house in an ideal location, very close to all places of interest, particularly the marche and our favourite restaurant. Would love to return but would suggest that it is a perfect house for two people.
The listing description is correct, but the little house is so much more, it is
a fantastic special place to stay, not just for a week, but for two and three!
Always clean and well-maintained.
The owner give good service and is a very nice person.
What we do there:
In the summer 8 o´clock down to Plage Gravette for morning bath.
Afterwards croissant and coffee on the balcony with view of the
Later off to Marché Provencal 3 minutes from the house, filled with all you
can dream on. Vegetables, fruits, flowers, cheeses, tapenade and olives
Back to the house and ready for a walk, may be to Juan Le Pins or
around the Cap de Antibes. Or by train to the beautiful Plage Mala in
By bus (1 Euro) go to Biot and Valbonne (market fridays). And if you have
a car drive up to Mougins for a fantastic dinner.
From Juan Le Pins there is a boat in the morning to Ile Sainte-
Marguerite, bring with your lunchbasket and stay there until the boat
bring you back i the afternoon.
Sure you have Cannes, Nice , Monaco and Italy near by.
When I am there, it is just one problem, the time runs too fast and I have to leave the most wonderful place again......
Short walking to beaches Plage Gravette or Plage Salis. The Royal Beach Club is a wonderful way to stay for the day with loungers and a fantastic lunch on the sea.
Nice airport is 20 kilometres and there are taxis and buses. Take a train to Paris! The train station is a 10 minute walk or go to Italy for the day.... There is a car rental location name Midiloc where you can rent a car for the day to go Eze for 37 euro all inclusive. Just ask for Martine and she will help you out.
The old town has a fantastic variety of shops for food, items typical to this area of France, clothing and boulangeries. The historic seaside town has history from the Greeks and Romans. There are so many pretty streets and Place National has clothing and antique markets on various days through the week.
I do like to speak people on the phone or Skype to better enable a very positive visit for my guests. Booking comes early for the next year and I do ask for a 50percent deposit to hold the booking. I have been very liberal in my cancellation policy and I do realize that there health matters that can't be controlled.
I am very liberal on change over day as flights do tend to be full and more expensive on Saturdays.
Notes on prices:
For winter months, I will negotiate a monthly rate.
