The property is approached via an original cobbled pathway with shared access with neighbouring cottage. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Outside is an enclosed pleasant, sunny courtyard garden.
What we have here is not a functional holiday property but rather more a home from home quality, with a relaxing ambience making it perfect for romantic breaks or equally suited to family holidays. Maybe grab a book from the extensive selection of books on the shelves and sit around the fire on those winter days. There is on road parking in front of the property which is readily available. Downstairs comprises of a large dining lounge with ceiling beams and a flagstone floor with a lovely open flame gas fire within a large natural stone fireplace. The kitchen has a cottage feel with all modern amenities. The pretty main bedroom has its original fireplace and both bedrooms have rural views. The cottage has a family friendly feel with many activities, books, board games and puzzles, although still a perfect bolthole for couples too. The village has a stunning 12th Century Inn serving excellent food, perhaps then walk off your lunch with a walk in the nearby Churston woods which amble through to Churston Cove. It is also possible to enjoy many of the local attractions by public transport.
