‘Troutbeck 9’ is a contemporary lodge set on the shores of Lake Windermere, within the exclusive White Cross Bay Holiday Park. In the heart of the Lake District, White Cross Bay is set in idyllic surroundings, and it provides a great base to explore the Lake District. Close to all major attractions, shops, restaurants and bars, the popular towns of Ambleside and Bowness are only 1.5 miles away. The lodge provides all the amenities required for a family or friends to relax and enjoy their break. Guests can enjoy the use of the indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi for just £15 for the whole family for the whole of your stay, bar and restaurant all just a short walk from the lodge. The lodge comprises of a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, double bedroom, fully furnished lounge, fully fitted kitchen, inc dish washer, and bathroom. Notes on accommodation: The greyed out areas on the calender are dates that are also unavailable due to the owners using the lodge on these dates. We are sorry to say pets are not allowed. This decision was taken to try and keep the lodge in the best possible condition possible for future guests. Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge. We prefer not to rent the lodge out to groups of young men/women - we don't want it being used for parties which may damage or spoil the interior. Please treat the lodge as if it was your own home. Outside: Lodge has private enclosed decking which provides children a safe area to play. BBQ and outdoor furniture provided. Indoor heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis court, and playground only a short walk away. Utility Room: No extra room, all appliances within the kitchen area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All kitchen amenities, towels and linen are provided. Spare towels are also provided. Dirty towels and linen to be left for maid service. All towels and linen will be washed and ironed prior to new guests arriving

Spotless, truly amazing experience:)

We chosen this lodge for Christmas and we had the best Christmas ever:) Paul even put a Christmas tree for us! The lodge is extremely tidy and very well looked after. We really felt like at home. Spacious, cozy, modern. I can imagine how nice would be to stay during the summer, because it has such a lovely terrace.

We will definitely come back and recommend to everyone. 10/10!

heating, lighting, hot water, oven, electricity smoke alarm all caused problems

d already spoken to the owner twice by this time and we were so stressed with it all we were glad to leave. If I had been on my own I wouldn't have managed as I have disabilities. So very disappointed. We will not be returning to this particular cabin.I feel very uncomfortable leaving a negative review as it is not in my nature but this really upset me as I was recovering from surgery and it was my sons' birthday.

Owner's Response: I can only apologize for the problems with heating, hot water and oven. They are all supplied by gas. Having spoken to the site on your behalf at the time, it turned out to be a problem with the gas and electric supply to the Lodge. Due to extreme whether condiontions at that time and not a problem with the Lodge itself. The site quickly responded to restore the services as soon as possible. Again I can only apologize for the inconvenience, but these were circumstances beyond my control. Sincerely Paul

Clean, tidy and had everything we needed.

Overall experience was very good. For us as a couple we couldn't ask for much more. The kitchen was fully kitted out which was perfect as you could choose between eating at the resort's resteraunt or cooking for yourself. The living area and bedroom was nice and comfortable. Its also very well situated as it's not too far from shops etc... we found we would make breakfast in the lodge whilst planning our day out to see all the sights and museums etc, and have dinner in the resort resertaunt...we were gutted to be going home....Well worth the 6 and a half hour drive!
