Absolutely the best ever!
We have stayed in many, many holiday rentals over the years, but this was, without doubt, the best.
We were a party of 7 - 6 adults and a two year old and everyone was impressed. All bedrooms being not only en-suite, but with a seperate bath and shower were fab. Comfortable beds, very, very comfy sofas and a real feeling of being at home all contributed to a wonderful holiday.
This lodge is well placed for accessing numerous tourist attractions, but the real winner for me were the wonderful walks directly from the front door.
Corinne and Andrew are fantastic owners. We were given chapter and verse about how to get there, what to do, where to go and how to contact them day and night.
Altogether, bloody brilliant!
Now I need to tell them I broke a tea plate........!

Very spacious and nicely set out
Overall our stay was great but the 7 days we had went to fast.
The property was lovely until .......
It was large and spacious and it was nice that you had en-suites but ... some of the bedroom side lamps did not work or fans - TV in single beds room did not work and some of the bathroom mats where very hygienic and the verandas really do need a good clean other wise it’s a nice place. And could not open windows or doors due to rather a lot of flies which is understandable to where we were.
We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with the equipment in the cabin, your review is the first in eight years to be below a 5-Star rating. Clearly, we rely on the outgoing customer to report to us any defective items so that we can correct the problem, however, none were! Therefore, neither the lamp bulbs nor the fan fuse were replaced. The four faulty bedroom TVs were due to power being turned off to the splitter/amplifier mounted behind the lounge TV and was easily resolved. The exterior of the cabin is swept and mopped on each changeover but the close proximity of such a large number of trees makes it an endless battle to keep tidy. If these issues had been raised with us on your arrival they would have been resolved immediately and hopefully would have resulted in a less severe reduction in our otherwise blemish free ratings? Exactly what it says - very spacious in a lovely location.
We are a 3 generation family aged 2 to 60 and Alpine Lodge catered for all our needs. There was plenty of space for the youngest to run around safely and the pool table was a godsend as it kept the teenage boys occupied (also Dad and Grandad!!). The kitchen was very spacious and well equipped - with a wonderful view over the lake. And for those of us in need of a bit of peace and quiet - there were numerous seating areas on the decking all around the lodge. The men and boys enjoyed a day fishing at a lake a few minutes walk away and the location was ideal for visits to Hunstanton, Wells and Blakeney Point. Andrew and Corrinne kept us very well informed with an information booklet and directions - the tip about finding vouchers for the Sea Life Centre in Hunstanton saved the family about £45. All in all a very good holiday.
Good quiet location. Good for Sandringham and Hunstanton.

Horse riding available on-site and locally at the Blackborough End Equestrian Centre
Heacham and Hunstanton beaches are 14 miles away.
A car is essential if venturing off site with the nearest town, Kings Lynn being eight miles away.
Gayton village is five miles away and has a Post Office, Londis mini-market, petrol station, fish & chip shop and two pubs.
Narborough village is 3 miles away with a superb Chinese restaurant and takeaway. They also deliver!
As well as private fishing, visitors can enjoy lovely scenic walking through woodland and around the lakes and the local quiet country lanes are ideal for easy and relaxed cycling.
