Overview

About the property

Peaceful Location, Set in Own Grounds, Parking, Walking distance to Beach

This grand, detached holiday home is a former Gentleman's residence and is located in Primrose Valley village, near the seaside town of Filey. It retains many original features including parquet flooring, stained glass windows, high ceilings with cornice work and spacious rooms to lose yourself in. There is also a traditional Pub within the property while the lawned and landscaped gardens are complemented with a hot tub and seating area with a barbeque.

Wander through the quiet estate to the stunning 5-mile stretch of almost deserted beach for a family day to remember. Primrose Valley is home to an 18-hole golf course and boasts a contemporary pub serving delicious English cuisine within a short stroll of the front door.

Lounges:-

The property features two large lounge areas for sitting back and relaxing while watching TV. All TVs are fitted with Freeview, whilst one of the lounges has a full Sky package, so there is no need to ever miss sporting events, movies or the latest TV again. There are also iPod docks in many of the rooms, with free WiFi throughout.

Dining Room:-

Getting away with the whole family provides a great opportunity to have a good natter over some amazing food. The dining room has two large tables to cater for the whole family with the kitchen opening up into the dining room.

Kitchen:-

The kitchen is fully equipped with a multi-fuel range, American style fridge freezer, washer, dryer, microwave and dishwasher. Cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils are all supplied in the kitchen for that home cooked meal!

Pub:-

Spend an evening in your very own traditional English Pub where, you can even pull your own pint! The pub boasts Sky TV, pool table, dart board, Karaoke machine, music docking stations as well as numerous board games to keep all the family entertained! The Pub is accessed via the kitchen, located in a one story building so, no one will be disturbed if you turn the music up and 'belt' out a tune or two! However, please note, the property is situated in a residential area and therefore, we do ask that noise is kept to an acceptable level after 11pm.

Garden featuring Hot Tub:-

Kick back and relax in the hot tub, which is one of the great features of the private gardens. Soak up the bubbles with plenty of space for everyone either in or outside of the tub! There is a brick built barbeque for the summer nights and also a play area to keep the younger guests occupied while the adults enjoy the bar and tub. The large lawned areas are fantastically maintained with so much space for kids to run around in!

Conservatory:-

The bright and airy conservatory leads off one of the living rooms and is an ideal place to relax and look out over the landscaped gardens meaning you can always keep an eye on the kids while they play in the spacious gardens or on the brand new playground.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:-

There is one double bedroom on the ground floor with a wet room bathroom opposite. There are no steps to this bedroom or bathroom and would be suitable for disabled guests.

The first floor comprises of two double bedrooms and one triple room. All the rooms are bright and airy with plenty of space. One double contains a 5ft sleigh bed with en-suite bathroom which showcases a roll top bath, basin and toilet. The second has a double bed and the third has three single beds. About NYCH

North Yorkshire Coast Holidays is a family run business, located in the picturesque village of Hunmanby. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and we endeavor to make your experience with us a memorable one.

From the moment we receive your initial enquiry to the moment you depart (after hopefully a thoroughly enjoyable stay), we are only ever a click or call away. We aim to reply to all emails within 24 hours and answer calls on a daily basis in our dedicated office.

Our aim is to provide all of our guests with a friendly, efficient service and ultimately, to facilitate a thoroughly memorable and pleasurable stay. From our glowing reviews, we are inclined to believe we are well on track however, that won't stop us in our pursuit for further success.

NYCH purchased this house in 2012

Why NYCH chose Yorkshire Moors and Coast

Primrose Valley is a short distance from where I live on the Yorkshire Coast. The property itself, even in the poor state I bought it in, had so much potential. It is located in it's own grounds and is a 10 minute walk from a rural beach with no shops or amusements. You can walk for miles on the beach, sit relax or head for Filey where there is more going on. Primrose Valley is an ideal location for families to get away from the hustle and bustle and explore the Yorkshire Coast.

What makes this house unique

The property has so much to offer with more than enough space inside and out. The enclosed garden has been landscaped and provides a seating area, barbecue, hot tub and children's play area with lots of space for outdoor activities. Inside there are 2 sitting rooms, a conservatory and dining room so not matter how many people are staying you can always find a quiet corner. The bar is set to the side of the main house and provides entertainment with a pool, table and dart board and table tennis. There is no need to venture to the pub you can bring your own drinks along and have a good time without the worry of driving or babysitters.

Family Get Together:

  • 5 of 5

We were a party of 16 ( 3 years to 71 years) and we were all more than capably catered for. We were met on the time specified and shown round the house and gardens. (The welcome cake was really appreciated). We all made full use of the house and gardens. The hot tub was extremely good as the weather could have been better. The pub was the "hub" for the weekend and all the facilities were well used.

We even had people trying to play the piano! All in all the weekend was a complete success.

Family Birthday Celebration

  • 5 of 5

Our holiday was for my son's Birthday and what a surprise it was for him. He enjoyed every minute especially pulling pints in the bar. We could not have wished for a better place to accommodate all our family needs, there was something for everyone. We all had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and very homely.

Customer Service was excellent from start to finish and staff are very very helpful.

We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends.

The home made cake was delicious! You will see us again in 2017!

beautiful ...our joint '40th'

  • 5 of 5

We searched everywhere for a nice big house to accommodate 16 adults..finally i found this house and i must say its beautiful and exactly what we were looking for .The company who own it 'north yorkshire coast holidays' are a family run business and were excellent when it came to communication..we had a few glitches from our end but they were fine with them and gave us plenty of time to sort them..on arrival we were greeted shown around and then left to our own devices..we even had a cake made for us and a tea coffee sugar package made up.The house has everything you need to go from home to home with everything you can think of ..so no need to take anything with you. If driving there is a supermarket not far from the house and the house itself is on the primrose valley site ..a mere 5 min walk ..so kids will love the amusements etc..it has a small shop for those not driving who may have forgot something or there are buses every 5 mins or so into bridlington. We ordered takeaways each night that were lovely and inexpensive but it does have all the cooking facilities you need . The house was lovely and warm set at the right times and the bed

Great Family House

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for suitable accommodation that could cater for our needs and Bourne End House did exactly that. We are a group of friends with young families (children ranging from 3 to 12) who get together each year and this house allowed us to enjoy being together in a safe environment. The house is massive, there was ample room for us to be together without feeling cramped or in each others way.

Great location just a short walk from the beach and its own enclosed garden for the children to play in.

Perfect for us and we have booked to stay again next year.

Hen weekend

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time I've stayed at this wonderful house, once for a friends 40th birthday and now I have just come back from a fabulous weekend celabrating my daughters hen party, there were 16 of us so a full house. There is plenty of room and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We did venture out into

Scarborough for a lovely meal but we all wanted to get back to the house to continue the celebration as having your own pub we could make our own cocktails and play silly games. I would defiantly recommend this place for any kind of celebration And will definitely be booking again. Deb x

Fabulous property!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a family holiday and the house was fantastic for all ages - from 6 months to 91! The freshly made cake on arrival was very welcoming. The house is easy to get around for the less mobile and there is plenty of space for a large group. Highly recommended, we will be back :)
