The Long Barn is a converted 17th Century barn and is located on our main property in the stunning village of Duntisbourne Abbots. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with an open plan kitchen / living area. It has recently been renovated tastefully throughout with some very interesting features including the old vice ! being left in their original positions. It also has the modern essentials such as Sky and Wi-Fi Nespresso machine and Microwave. This is a small quiet and cosy place to base yourselves when wishing to explore this area of the Cotswold's.Please note our MINIMUM rental period is 1 WEEK . Please note the spiral staircase can make it tricky for very young and very old guests.
The Long Barn at Pound Cottage Duntisbourne Abbotts

I spent 4 years restoring it to the current condition. We have been amazed how well it has rented... 21 weeks last year and are pleasantly surprised by the positive comments and feedback to date. I think you will like it.
Charles purchased this Barn in 1987
Why Charles chose Duntisbourne Abbots
I bought Pound Cottage and The Long Barn in 1987 when my mother said it was the prettiest Cotswold Cottage and set of outbuildings she had even seen in one of the prettiest and quietest of hamlets of the Cotswold's. Well what could I do ..mother had spoken !
What makes this Barn unique
The Long Barn is situated near our house Pound Cottage in the quiet hamlet of Duntisbourne Abbots and really the very local area is simply stunning and very quiet despite the odd car or tractor. You can walk the local villages or hamlets and for the more adventurous there are well sign posted walks along rural footpaths. We use the Long Barn for our weekend guests occasionally and they all seem to relax in it and the lower garden and rarely want to leave.

Tranquil setting in quiet village with some fabulous walks. The property was clean and very well equipped and snug...bet it would have been even better in the summer....maybe next time we will try a warmer month !
A great week in Cotswolds village!!
We stayed with with 2 kids (2 and 9 years old) during Eastern 2016. Very cosy cottage designed in traditional style. Fully equipped kitchen, big living room and 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds. We slept so well in this quite, countryside we had problems to visit all planned attractions in the surrounding: Bath, Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, Longleat, Stratford-upon-Avon, Lacock Abbey, Severn valley, etc.
We highly recommend this location. Very friendly owner and reasonable price.
Thanks very much look forward to seeing you next time your in the uk.
