About Diana Richardson

Hi, my name is Diana Richardson. My husband Mike and I purchased this house just over 13 years ago and have lived here very happily. Family and friends have enjoyed many weekends visiting us and the surrounding countryside. We have now moved house due to work responsibilities and thought that it was time to let others enjoy what we have had for the past 13 years.

I have enjoyed making the house suitable for holiday letting although it still has many quirks and the character that we have loved. We hope that people who come here enjoy their stay and feel it is a real 'home from home'.

Diana Richardson purchased this cottage in 2000

Stay while visiting bangor open day

  • 5 of 5

Arrived to this tiny quarry man cottage. It was compact. Kitchen was tiny had tea and coffee left. Like the hanging saucepan to make room. Bedrooms very comfy and sleep well. We come as my daugher wants to come to university in Bangor. Is she gets a place we book again. Still got loads to visit and see.

Excellent small holiday cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is very clean with everything you could possibly need in a stay. Coast and mountains are close, pub and shop are fine and the location is quiet and safe. Parking is good but be prepared for small roads and tight turns to get to it. Owner quick to respond if required and very helpful.

Throughly recommended

Cosy cottage

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is cosy and lovely. Very pretty inside as is the garden.

My only drawback was that the garden is not enclosed for large dogs. In some areas it's only 2 foot high. There are also loose chickens which can be in the cottage or neighbouring garden.

Lovely owners though, helpful and amenable.

The surrounding area is beautiful with lots to visit and activities nearby.

Delightful cottage, very narrow road!

  • 4 of 5

He cottage itself is absolutely perfect! Well maintained, cosy and fully equipped, with a lovely garden. The only problem was a very narrow road with tricky access. A small car is better for this. My Citroen C4, although not huge, got scraped on the lampost located just at the mouth of the road... Not the owner's fault of course.
