With its winding streets, traditional houses, colourful cottages and its literary and maritime history from Pirates to twenty first century cruise ships, Fowey has something for everyone to enjoy-quaint gift and antique shops, kayaking for the more adventurous, leisurely river cruises, numerous walks from the doorstep, crabbing and fishing from the slipway or simply watching the world go by from the window.

Out of the blue is a cosy and comfortable house, a fab place to stay, fab decor, modern and light, we loved watching the river traffic, some huge containers went by. Convenient for meandering the the town. We recommend you stock up on essentials if need be. Park at Caffamill and use the App to pay, we paid from our bed one morning!!
Cozy Home with a Smashing View
Out of the Blue is a delightful property, nicely decorated, and with a smashing estuary view. Together with the easy walk to town, this cozy Fowey location leads you to feeling right at home.
The accommodation was superb, clean and modern. Everything you needed was there, we could not have asked for more. The living space was plenty big enough for 4 adults and the 2 bedrooms were also a good size.
Fowey is a lovely place, plenty to discover. The pubs and food shops were all within easy walking distance and were all of good quality. We may have overdosed on the Cornish pasties!
I would definitely recommend your beautiful house and would not hesitate to return one day.
Very well presented and close to town
This Fowey property is very clean and well equipped. Views from the main bedroom provide a nice vista down the river. The house was very warm, even on a wintery January weekend. It is close enough to town for a gentle stroll and far enough away to provide a quiet spot. In summation a really lovely winter break and we will certainly be re-visiting..
A lovely quaint cottage but modern and very comfortable inside. Everything you could need. Lovely views over the estuary and very handy for the town. Excellent
Fantastic house in lovely town
We had a wonderful long weekend in this lovely house. The highlight for us was the lovely views from the front of the house, so relaxing watching the boats go by. The house was very well equipped. Our children noticed the stash of board games just as we were leaving!
There were lots of steps up to the property but we managed this fine even with a toddler in tow.
The only slight niggle was that rubbish and recycling needs to be taken away (if you are not leaving on bin day) but we could not find any information on where to dispose of this.
Overall a lovely stay and would love to return
