Villa in Nazaret, Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Peaceful Location, Surrounded By A Wall For Complete Privacy, Sky TV, Videos

Villa Shibui. A lovely 2 bed/2 bath modern villa situated in Nazaret, a quiet village 10 mins by car from the resort of Costa Teguise. Ideally situated for exploring Lanzarote and all it has to offer, including Famara's famous beaches, La Geria wine valley and the nearby historic town of Teguise. A perfect holiday home for those seeking peace and quiet. Great restaurants are close by. The nearest is the famous LagoMar a short walk away. Villa Shibui is equipped with everything you could possibly need and might expect from a luxury holiday villa. The internet connection has been improved and is excellent. Satellite TV is installed and a comprehensive DVD and music selection is there for your use. For when it may too hot, we've had air-conditioning installed in both bedrooms. Kate and Mark look after the villa and make sure it's spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. They are also there to help in any way they can should you need them. A welcome pack is provided, of course.

Why Debbie and Robin chose Costa Teguise - Teguise

This is our 'home from home' which we try to keep up to a standard that anyone would expect. We purchased Shibui in 2003 after returning to the island to see how it was almost 20 years after our first visit in the 1980's.

What makes this villa unique

We love the quiet, the privacy, the beautiful views and sunsets with nothing very far away. The island still offers that unique mix of modern, old, secret hideaways, traditional, mystical, historic and peaceful with a fantastically warm welcome across the island, every single time.

Lovely spacious villa in a great location with both sea views and inland scenery. Fantastic heated pool for both day and night. Go north for authentic Spanish villages and quiet little coves. Friendly and helpful locals. Highly recommended

A great house you feel home from the first moment on

  • 5 of 5

We spent one week there and from the first moment on, we loved the place and felt home. The welcome package was great, the communication with Debbie and Robin was perfect, e. g. all the instructions and information sheets they sent us.

Everything was clean and there was everything you could ever need such as a big DVD and CD collection for music in the morning and easy DVD-evenings. Sitting at the pool, no one can see you and you have really privacy. It was very quiet and only few cars pass. We really enjoyed our stay from the first until the last moment and we are sure that if we come back to the island, this will be the place to be! Thanks again for everything, Debbie and Robin!

Great Holiday

  • 5 of 5

Very clean well equipped home from home , everything you need for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds , though you could join them if you want after a 15 minute drive . Loads of books and DVD's to chill out with . The social club down the hill was great , good food , cheap booze and friendly staff and friendly locals too!

Teguise Sunday market (about a 5 minute drive) is well worth a visit, though expect some big crowds, there are loads of bars and restaurants in Teguise but all a bit busy on Sunday.

A car is essential and you can usually get a good price from Cicar including fully comp insurance , so no hard sell at checkout , in my experience book about a month before travel to get the best price. Do visit Lagomar if only for a drink , the bar opens at 6pm, the food looks good and the owner is a very nice chap.

All in all we had a great time and will probably book again , if only we could teleport there to avoid the travel!

Ideal for total relaxation

  • 5 of 5

This was our fourth stay at Shibui (the last one being only 5 months ago). February was perhaps a little chilly at each end of the day, but heating is provided if needed. I cannot add to other reviews except to say that the property never disappoints. Kate and Mark who look after the villa do a superb job and all facilities are provided, including a very welcome food pack at outset. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

Relaxing villa with all mod cons

  • 5 of 5

I can only echo the previous reviews. The villa was spotlessly clean with great views in a nice peaceful location.

The only drawback ( and not much of a one to me ) was that if you want to go out for a meal or a drink you are forced to drive, so we mainly had meals and drinks in the villa, but that suited us anyway.

The local town of Teguise is a pretty little town to visit, with a smattering of typical tapas bars, and a huge market on Sundays worth a look, but dont make our mistake of trying to get a meal after the market, as it being a Sunday it all shuts down at 4pm.

I have stayed in dozens of villas all over the place, as thats the kind of holliday we like, and can honestly say that this was one of the better ones, we will be back at some point in the future. You wont be dissapointed with it.

Perfect location for exploring the whole island

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful villa, very well equipped and when we needed help from the manager, it was provided promptly. The pool was a lovely temperature even in early February. The views, from the lounge and patio, looking across the valley were stunning both at dawn, and at sunset.

The only drawback is that you have to drive in the evening if you want to go out to eat, which is a tad unfair on the driver. So we made the most of the very well equipped kitchen (and the BBQ) and ate in most evenings.

Owner's Response: Thank you for a lovely review. The beautiful atmospheric views from dawn until dusk, with the patio and pool deck a perfect spot for barbeque and chilling out. The famous Lag O Mar restaurant is just 5 minutes walk within the village (turn right out of the villa and walk up the hill briefly for a very special experience amongst the caves shaped by historic volcanic activity. Teguise, old town with its quaint streets, secret taverns and restaurants is so close, less than 10 minutes by car.
