Very rural and peacfull

  • 4 of 5

This place is in a very peacfull location with stunning views. The accommodation is almost new and well organised. If the pool is important to you you might want to ensure it is open before booking. It was closed in mid may.

Lovely quiet place and stunning view

  • 5 of 5

It was my family's first visit to Puglia and we could not have landed at a better place. The house is new and fresh, garden is beautifully kept and pool lovely. You will immediately feel relaxed here as there is absolutely peace and quiet. Our boys age 8 and twelve enjoying the two friendly small dogs which was joyful. The surrounding beaches are among the cleanest we have ever visited. you find fish swimming around your feet! We are returning in 2017 for two weeks. Looking forward to visiting the place again.

1 semaine magnifique !

  • 5 of 5

Agnes.

Just like in the photos!

  • 5 of 5

Super relaxing place: great facilities, lovely lawn, stunning view. A beautiful location to explore the Gargano. It's a 5 minute drive one way to the beach, and the other way you're in the Gargano National park.

The beaches up and down the coast are stunning - next time we'll rent a boat and check out the entire coastline from the sea.

Thanks to Maria and her parents for making us feel very welcome!

Mattinata is a quiet and friendly town surrounded by olive groves, in the Gargano National Park: a unique Mediterranean destination, that offers historical and natural attractions. It’s the place to get away from it all, savour one of the best cuisine of the region, visit Monte Saraceno Bronze age settlement or the close-by Medieval towns, lose yourself in the silence of the Umbra Forest or simply lay on its stunning beaches. Travellers enjoy walking or cycling on its beautiful natural trails, where they can experience a real wild orchid paradise with its 54 different species. Founded by Greeks, became fairly important in Roman times (when ships loaded with oil and wine set out from its harbour). it is still possible to see the ruins of a villa discovered near the marina.

Mattinata is well connected to the International airports of Bari and Pescara (2 h and half drive) and the national airport of Foggia (45min drive).
