Bramble, Pear Tree and The Granary are three very smart contemporary style cottages, set in North Yorkshire with stunning views, the cottages are finished to a high standard, Each cottage under floor heating, generous sized private garden with private hot tubs. Both Bramble and Pear Tree cottages also have wood burning stoves. In all three cottages the French doors open onto patio and large fenced garden, with patio furniture, barbecue and sun loungers. The cottages have free wifi and own parking. Secure bike store is located on site for those wanting to explore the area on two wheels. Bramble and Pear Tree cottage are also pet friendly. Changeover days are Monday’s or Fridays.

David, Caroline, Robert and Jenny welcome you to Middleton Cottages. We are a farming family that have built these gorgeous cottages to a very high standard, as we want our guests to enjoy luxury accommodation in a quiet rural location surrounded by stunning views. We are passionate about our beautiful area and all it has to offer and our cottages are perfect for relaxing in after a fun day exploring.

As a growing farming family we wanted to diversify, but we wanted to diversify into something that we are all really passionate about which is Middleton Cottages. From our initial ideas, to designing, building, looking after our cottages and meeting people, we have loved and continue to love our cottages and all they have to offer.

- Notes on accommodation: Bramble and Pear Tree cottages welcome pets (max 1 log in each cottage) The Granary is pet free. Outside: Each cottage has own Generous sized private fenced gardens with private hot tubs and patios with outdoor furniture, barbecue and loungers. Large Dog exercise field, stables and bike store are also located on site.

Great house, really comfy beds, all bedrooms have en-suit.
Hot tub was a nice added bonus.

Special interest holidays: If you fancy brining your own bikes to enjoy the local cycle ways we have a secure bike store on site, also If you fancy bringing your own horse on holiday we have bespoke wooden stables on site. The cottages are in a great location to enjoy the many cycle ways and bridle paths. Coast/Beach: Saltburn a pretty Victorian town with own pier and cliff lift is approximately 18 miles away, beautiful Whitby is approx 40 miles. Pretty coastal villages between Saltburn and Whitby also worth visiting. Travel: Durham Tees Airport - 10 miles Railway station Yarm - 4 miles Distances: Hutton Rudby village - 2 miles Great Ayton village -c 6 miles Stokesley - 4 miles Yarm - 4 miles Helmsley - 20 miles York - 40 miles Whitby - 40 miles Further Details: The cottages are in a great rural location in North Yorkshire overlooking the cleveland hills, the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors. You can explore the stunning area and there is plenty of things to see and do for all ages. Great Ayton, the birthplace of Captain Cook is 6 miles away and the local train takes the scenic route from here, through the Eske Valley North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby and on route you can catch the steam train to Whitby or Pickering. The Cleveland Way can be joined at numerous locations within 6 miles. The cottages overlook Cleveland hills and these are great places to walk and enjoy the views. Day trips to York, Whitby, Robin Hoods bay, Helmsley, Thirsk, and Bedale all having attractions suitable for children and adults. The cottages are a short drive away from the Dales. Near to the cottages there are Lots of places to eat and drink from continental cafés and restaurants in Yarm, Stokesley, Northallerton to nearby country village pubs in Hutton Rudby, Osmotherley, Hilton, Great shopping including boutiques in the local market towns of Yarm, Northallerton and Stokesley. Regular markets and farmers markets in the local towns too. Supermarkets do deliver to the cottages but also plenty of places to buy food from local towns.
