About Fanny Rogers
There are several families living in the different houses on the farm. In the big farm house lives farmer George with his wife Kate and three children Vita (12), William (11) and Henry (9). Other than the farm George has a great interest in sailing and loves travelling around the world assisting his children in their optimist racing. Farm manager Marius lives in the first cottage on the right when you drive into the farm. He and his wife Betty are the sole reason why our farm always looks amazing. They have daughter Kinga (6). Kate's brother Nicholas lives in the far cottage with his Dutch wife Fanny and their two sons Dirk (5) and Jonny Bear (3). Nicholas has sailed on an Olympic level for many years which resulted in 2 silver medals. Fanny runs the bookings for the barns.
Why Fanny Rogers chose Boldre
Situated just outside Lymington in the New Forest National Park and close to the fantastic sailing waters of the Solent, Warborne Farm is the ideal base from which to explore this stunning area. It is a working 180 acre farm run by the Heathcote family whose unique approach to farming was featured on the Discovery Channel’s ‘Farm Life’ program. For more information about our property see our website www.warbornefarm.co.uk
What makes this Barn unique
The New Forest National Park is rich with heritage and natural beauty. It’s the perfect haven for walking, cycling, and sight-seeing. As well as the Forest Ponies that run free, you’ll no doubt encounter a host of other wildlife including an abundance of deer. As well as the stunning natural beauty, there are so many things to do and visit such as Hurst Castle, Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu Motor Museum. We are only about a mile away from the sea which has stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight (which is only a short ferry ride from Lymington.) The Solent is well known for it’s world-class sailing heritage but it is also a great location for kayaking, bird watching, windsurfing and fishing.

Wonderful family reunion in idyllic accommodation and surroundings
We were thrilled with the 3 barn conversions that we hired for our long family weekend. All of them were decorated and equipped to the highest standard and were very comfortable. We stayed in Long Barn and hosted large family dinners each night and there was plenty of space for fun to be had. The farm itself is lovely - with an uplifting emphasis on animal welfare and being organic. The hens in their home laying many eggs for us were the happiest I've seen anywhere and the same goes for the friendliest pigs in their wonderful home too. Fanny was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. I can't recommend Warborne Farm highly enough - we hope to be back!
Absolutely beautiful property, so much character and ideallic setting, great location for walks
We stayed as seven friends in the hayloft in January. Was perfect weekend. The hayloft was stunningly decorated, so many beautiful touches, also bigger than looked in the pictures, was plenty of room for seven of us. And lovely and warm! Balcony overlooks fields and the animals, which were great fun! Short walk from the village with great pub and good village shop. Lots of walks nearby, beautiful part of the new forest. Very welcoming and hospitable owners, thank you.
Thank you very much, you were a delight to have,
We would love to see you back,
Spread the word!
