About Laura Field
Charles grew up in Cornwall and has regularly surfed at Porthmeor beach, so it's important for us to have a base here. We love St Ives for not only its unique location but for it's lively town atmosphere all year round, there is always something to do, see and eat.
Laura Field purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Laura Field chose St Ives
We chose 3 Kelly's Gardens for its character, location and well proportioned rooms.

Good location, very nice cottage, would stay again
Excellent cottage in good position
Clean comfortable and well equipped. Perfect for our mini break in St Ives.
Great accommodation in a great location
Cozy cottage with everything you need. Located in the centre of St.Ives with shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep. We went by train and it was less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. The harbour and beaches were minutes away. We had a fantastic time here and would recommend and also hope to return ourselves.
Siberia comes to Cornwall!
We were unfortunate enough to time our visit to St Ives to coincide with "Storm Emma" and "The Beast from the East!" so we spent the week dressed like Eskimos. However, we still managed to enjoy our holiday and visit all the places that we planned such as the Tate, Fifteen, Padstow and The Gurnard's Head. In fact the weather reduced visitor numbers still further and ensured that we had no problems getting tables in restaurants. We did hear horror stories about some cottages where the pipes froze and the tenants lost all heating and water supplies for a few days. This was certainly not the case in 3 Kelly's Gardens. The central heating was very efficient and the wood burner made the living room very cosy every evening. The cottage was very tastefully decorated and furnished with all the equipment you would need for a short stay and the central location was ideal. In all respects an excellent choice.
Cosy and comfy
Beautifully decorated with tasteful and thoughtful features. A great location so central although a little noisy at night when revellers make themselves known. Loved the wood burner. Wood had been left with kindling and lighters which was so helpful. We restocked from a supplier across the road. Lovely welcome pack too. One minor point is the second bedroom bed is a little rickety and perhaps in need of attention.
Lovely cottage in an ideal location
Cosy and comfortable cottage, with a helpful and accommodating owner. This was perfect for our short winter break in St Ives and we would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family.
