Location, location, location! This spacious historical Grade II listed building is situated in the prime position of Kellaway Court, overlooking Hope Square in Brewers Quay, Weymouth.
The location is excellent, with a choice of nearby pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes or choose fresh lobster and crab from the Quayside and dine in. Brewers Quay has a variety of antique shops and a military museum.
The vibrant harbour is only a minute or two away. Cross the nearby bridge or take the gentle rowing ferry across to the other side of the quay and within 5-10 minutes, you have the choice of visiting Weymouth's famous golden beach, or alternatively, take advantage of the well-stocked amenities in and around the main shopping area, comprising well known Department Stores alongside fascinating independent shops.
Santiago House is a contemporary family-friendly home away from home with a well-equipped kitchen, high quality bed linen and newly refurbished bathrooms which are finished to a boutique hotel standard. The Master Bedroom's Super-King bed is luxuriously big. This property especially welcomes families. Travel cot & high chair available, please contact the bookings team to add to your booking. As well as children's crockery there is a large selection of books, toys and DVD's provided.
The decked terrace overlooks Hope Square and Brewers Quay, which in turn are regularly populated by friendly people relaxing over a coffee, or glass of wine, providing a relaxed and happy ambiance. An ideal spot to watch the world go by. Parking is taken care of with two allocated parking spaces in an electronically gated secure residents parking area.
Dorset is equally as well known for it's activities as it is for the quiet life, sailing, fishing and walking to name but a few.

About Maxine Spencer
We live in London and both work. We also run around like crazy for the children with after-school activities. Their social diaries are jam-packed. We love London, but we also enjoy the fresh air in Weymouth and the chance to press the pause button and relax.
Maxine Spencer purchased this House in 2012
Why Maxine Spencer chose Weymouth and Portland District
With a young family, we were looking for somewhere within easy reach of London where we could enjoy some sea air and simply unwind. Weymouth fitted the bill perfectly. It was the first house we looked at and we both instantly fell in love, buying the house just before the 2012 Olympics. The whole area was on a high and we happily got swept along. It takes us around 2 & half hours from North London, door to door and when the house is free, we just pack up the car and go. Our major surprise has been the food. Dorset excels in fantastic cuisine and we continue to find new exciting places, cooking fresh local produce to the highest standards. When embroiled in the daily grind at home, we look forward to heading off to Santiago House, where the everyday stresses of life get put on hold. We were lucky to have picked such a fantastic location, as the house overlooks Hope Square in Brewers Quay and it is a pleasure to just sit on the balcony and watch the world go by.

The owners were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Fabulous Santiago House
Another superb stay in the Santiago House. The house was clean and well presented as always. Perfect location, weather helped, but always enjoy the experience. This was our 3rd year in this property, and we have already booked for next year.
I absolutely love having repeat Guests to stay at Santiago House. That is an amazing advert in itself! I'm so pleased you enjoyed staying at Santi. x
Fantastic stay - 3rd year running!!
Spotlessly clean and like home from home. We always have a fabulous stay at Santiago House. Really well equipped, comfortable and attractive in a wonderful location - close to everything! Looking to come again next year already!!
Always a pleasure to have you and your family to stay at Santiago House. Thank you for the super review.
Lovely property in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay at Santiago House - it was in a nice quiet location but still close to the town and beach. The property itself was well laid out and spacious with a light and airy feel. The kitchen was well appointed as was the whole property with videos, plenty of books and board games for the evenings. There was even a selection of buckets and spades and crab lines for the kids.
So pleased you enjoyed your stay at Santiago House. The twins looked like they were having a huge amount of fun on the beach, thank-you for the photographs. x
The whole family really enjoyed our stay at Santiago house, it's a perfect base to explore Weymouth from . It's well equipped and covers all our needs . Thank you to the owners Maxine and Matthew for another memorable holiday .
It was really lovely to meet you and your family. We were staying at our other holiday house - Vindelis House - in Portland, when you called. A lovely treat for us to meet you, as you have been coming to Santiago for a few years now.
Thank you for the lovely review and we very much look forward to welcoming you back in the future. xx
Fabulous property, centrally located and well equipped.
Santiago is a lovely spacious three storey property in a central but quiet residential area. The house is close to lovely pubs, eateries and the quayside for food, drink and lots of crabbing. We enjoyed a wonderful week here, with super weather. Close to beautiful beaches, pirate graveyards (Ope) and fossil hunting.
Super review, thank you.
Good to hear you found the Pirates Graveyard in Portland. The setting – a ruined church at the foot of a romantic pathway, stuck between two castles – makes for wonderful mystical tales. The skull and crossbones carved on the headstones ignite children's imagination.
Away from the property, and within a short walk, there are an array of sights and areas just waiting to be explored. The golden sands of Weymouth beach are within a 10 minute walk, whilst the harbour is practically on your doorstep and Nothe Fort is an ideal spot for a picnic or barbecue. The 18 mile Chesil Beach is a firm favourite of ours, as is the Rodwell trail leading to Portland.
Bournemouth is the closest airport. Rail services to/from Waterloo - Weymouth.
