The Lighthouse is a truly stunning apartment just moments away from the sea front, and holds an independent 4**** rating from Visit England. The open plan layout provides lots of natural light and sea views. This stylish apartment has panelled walls and sound proofed floors, providing a pristine haven with all the comfort and space needed for relaxing and unwinding, or having a fun packed sea side holiday. The Lighthouse is part of Suffolk House, and can be booked together with The Cannons, The Pier and / or The Blyth. Please note that there is also a sofa bed available, along with a travel cot and high chair.

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse - the apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome goodies were a very nice touch. The location was perfect, with a great view of the lighthouse and the sea from different rooms. The apartment was very quiet with no street noise - the seagulls were the only thing we heard at night but that's to be expected! A previous reviewer had mentioned the poor wifi but this has now been rectified and I had no problems with it at all. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment, you won't be disappointed. If I'm back in Southwold I would love to stay again.
The property itself is immaculate, and we were very comfortable there.
We loved our stay in the The Lighthouse, it was bright, spacious and comfortable with careful attention to detail in providing everything that we needed. The children loved the bunk bed and looking out of the bathroom window at the lighthouse. A source of frustration was the lack of WIFI, despite this being advertised on the listing. The network briefly appeared in the far corner of the master bedroom but then vanished from available networks, never to be found again. I contacted the owner who returned my call promptly and was most apologetic. She helped me find the phone number I needed online, and then texted it to me, which was very kind.
However, it did cause inconvenience with regards to accessing important work emails. My job requires me to have constant access to my clients' social platforms, and Southwold has very poor signal with nonexistent 4G. Having available WIFI was a key factor in choosing a property and we felt that this ought to have been provided with no hassle if it was advertised, and not just in the far corner of the bedroom. Perhaps the owners could invest in a signal booster? Running around Southwold to try and find WIFI leaving my husband with two small kids was not very relaxing! However despite this, we really enjoyed our stay and the property was beautiful, clean and very well equipped. We would love to stay here again.
Many thanks for your feedback. We sincerely regret that the wireless connection was not sufficient during your stay. This is the first issue we have had however it is, of course, one issue too many! I realise that this does not help you however please be reassured that I have just arranged for a dedicated powerful wireless router to be cabled up to The Lighthouse. This will take effect from Thursday 6th July. I do apologise again Hatty for any inconvenience, and am pleased that you still managed to have a super stay and enjoyed The Lighthouse.
