About Charlie Boughton

Fields End Water, is a family business run by Charlie & Michelle Boughton and is on the edge of a working arable farm, in the heart of Fenland, an interesting and historic part of England. The business has 2 fishing lakes, a caravan park and the luxury self catering lodges.

Charlie Boughton purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Charlie Boughton chose Fenland

We built these lodges, because felt there was a real demand for people who don't own a caravan to come and enjoy our excellent facilities and guaranteed peace and quiet.

What makes this cabin unique

All six of our Lodges have hot tubs & 3 have log burners, they are situated very close to the main fishing lake with guaranteed peace and quiet, and excellent views over the fens, what more could you want? Three of the six lodges have private, fenced and secure grassed gardens.

Travel:

Nearest Airport is Stansted Airport, 1 hour away. And our nearest train station is March Station, 10 minutes away in a cab. Car is recommended, but not essential.

Distances:

We have a convenience shop on site, for everyday needs, but in the village of Doddington, there are 3 other shops and 2 pubs that do good pub grub. March is the nearest town and has the major supermarkets etc.

Great places to visit are Ely, Cambridge and the local market towns around us, all have specific market days.
