This is a traditional farmhouse cottage with 4 bedrooms that sleep up to 7 people, is ideal for families or small groups, Rola was originally a farmhouse, built of local stone and slate and has been extended to provide a spacious comfortable cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. From the comfort of the lounge you can see the north and west, along the beaches of the north Wales Coast, to Snowdon in the distance. Alternatively you can enjoy a meal around the log burner in the original beamed dining room .The lounge is spacious with magnificent views of the sea and private garden from two sides of the room. We provide an LCD TV, CD/DVD home theatre system, some board games, books and DVD’s in the bookcase. The patio door leads to the private garden with BBQ in the summer. The room has two deep sofas that seat 5, with two large cane chairs.The lounge leads to the downstairs wet room that provides a third shower to the house with a separate laundry room/utility area

About Phil and Harj Northwood

A lifetime living on the welsh border and a passion for the outdoors, interests in wildlife, photography and walking drew Phil to the Welsh coast. So,after a successful career as a property developer and with an eye to retirement, Phil aquired Rola farmhouse in 2004. Over 12 months, the Farmhouse was completely renovated and the outbuildings converted to provide 3 stylish holiday homes. Phil met Harj in 2008 and their wedding party was at Rola set beside the sea.

Every moment at Rola is treasured and memories created which are shared with friends, family and our many return visitors.

Phil and Harj Northwood purchased this house in 2003

What makes this house unique

Rola Cottages have a combination of beautiful views from all directions, comfortable cosy cottages, but they are also a great location to go and explore from Snowdonia from.

Between the three cottages we can cater for a couple or a group of up to 17 people.

The extensive grounds 2 acres in total give a lot of space and freedom to enjoy the views and breath taking scenery.

It's not often that holiday digs match up to the advertised standards so it's with great pleasure that we can say that Llonydd more than met expectations.

Beautiful , quiet location with gorgeous views over the bay from both the house itself and the pretty & well kept garden areas.

Accommodation was really a home from home with all we could ask for - tastefully appointed , clean & tidy , warm & cosy for the little time we actually spent indoors.

Perfect spot to get to our favourite places in south Snowdonia and coming home from trips out felt just that - coming home ; totally relaxing.

We booked Llonydd at Rola Cottages as a last-minute booking and cannot believe our luck at finding this special place. The cottage was, as you would expect, exceptionally clean and presented with great care to detail. Our kids loved 'their' bedrooms and immediately felt at home.

Changeover Day:
Weekend breaks start on Fridays or Saturday and end on Monday or Tuesday. All midweek breaks end on Friday.
At peak periods changeover day for Rola is Friday and for Llonydd and Yr Olaf, Saturday. Flexible changeover days off-peak periods.

Outside: The properties are approached along a short drive from the main road to a parking area, sufficient to accomodate 6 cars (additional parking is available 50m away). The properties have private gardens facing the sea through which each is accessed along a short path to the front door. Each property has decking or patio with a barbeque and garden furniture. There common lawned areas surrounding the properties, and a small summer house.
