Perfect location with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

My partner & I stayed in the Carthouse for a week in May 2017 with our German Shepherd. The Carthouse has been renovated to a high standard & has everything you could possibly need. The views from the kitchen are stunning. Martha, Mark & the boys were very welcoming & there was an enormous freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us on the kitchen table. I must not forget to mention Billy the dog who visited us daily to catch up with our dog. There are several walks directly from the cottage that join up with the Pembrokeshire coastal path. While there are several small sandy beaches within walking distance, our favourite is Newport Sands, which is a short drive away. It is the biggest sandy beach I've seen in the UK, is dog friendly & you can even park your car on the beach. The Carthouse is the perfect location from which to explore Pembrokshire & we hope to be back again soon.

Words cant exactly say just how peacful and tranquil the place was! The Castle Inn had some gorgeous food and the best onion rings I have ever tasted! Perfect for me and the misses to get away after a very hectic 12 months! Would highly recommend for a quiet few days away!

An absolute gem. Fell in love with the place.

  • 5 of 5

This property is immaculate. It is a conversion of an old farm building which has been nicely designed and well built. The décor is lovely with a cottagey feel. The fittings are all good quality .The location is at the bottom of an old farm yard, accessed by a private lane, with beautiful wide views over the countryside and so very quiet and undisturbed. The coast walks and the National Park hills are close by. The owner is helpful and friendly but not at all intrusive. Plenty of space for two. It has everything you could possibly want for a pleasant stay.
