Lovely place for a short break
We have stayed at Bank Cottage several times now and it never disappoints. Very cosy and welcoming and set in a wonderful location for just enjoying the view, going for walks or exploring the wider area. Highly recommended.
What is there not to love? Beautiful views, peacefulness, enchanted walks and luxury accommodation. We are driving home now and as soon as we arrive home we will be booking our next stay. Loved every second x
The house is lovely and well equipped. The garden is wonderful with amazing views, our dog loved it! Any problems we had were sorted quickly & efficiently. The drive to get to house from road is not for the faint- hearted though!
We stayed almost three weeks in this house in Llandogo. The house is fully equipped, it had everything we needed. We traveled without a car, but there is a bus route through the village and we could easily reach nearby cities: Chepstow, Monmouth, Tintern. There are also many excellent hiking trails through the village.
We had a wonderful vacation and can recommend this house.
Peace perfect peace
What a beautiful cottage. If you like walking and then chilling on the decking with the most beautiful views this is the place to go. The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped. I have recommended to all my friends and family. So many lovely pubs with amazing food in a 10 mile radius. Didn't find a pub that wasn't dog friendly so we could take them everywhere. I will definitely go back. Michelle
Really beautiful property
Really beautiful property that has been well maintained and had everything we need. The views really are as good as the pictures, its very isolated (which is exactly what we wanted by the way) the garden was great - nothing better than reading a book in the morning on the decking, and it was totally fenced off so had no worries of the dog getting out.
What i would say though is that there is no mention of its location - id seen other reviews on here about the parking situation and ill be honest, i definitely thought others had overexaggerated - far from it. The road to the house is very very tight and we struggled to get our estate down it, and actually on the way out, we managed to nick (and now need to replace) 2 of the tyres because they got caught on the steep stoney hill. The directions to the house were great, but i really feel there should be some sort of a warning so you at least know what youre in for. Other than that, really lovely stay!
