Great Cottage for a group of walkers

  • 5 of 5

We loved this cottage. Hired it along with Cottage 1 and Cottage 3 for a large group of us helping with a local event and then walking for a week. We managed to do plenty of great walks some straight from the door. The facilities in the cottage were great and this cottage became the central hub for our friends in the other two so we were able to have supper as a group. That was very handy. Wonderful fixtures and fittings, very comfy beds, all in good condition. We left it as we found it - immaculate we hope! A good base for the moors, for the seaside and for Howardian Hills too. Highly recommended.

From the moment you walk into the cottage it feels comfortable. That wraparound feeling you need for a relaxing holiday break. Lots to do in good weather, out and about. Should weather close in there are games,tv etc., catered for. Brilliant & Perfect.

Lovely hosts and beautiful cottage in a gorgeous place!

  • 5 of 5

Carol and Simon Fisk were beyond welcoming, full of information for the area available for us and always ready to help when needed before and during our stay. We had a lovely time exploring the moors, and always looked forward to coming back to the cosy cottage for games, cooking and hanging out. The house is spacious and super clean. Some of the best sleeps we had in a long time, given our busy lifestyles in London. We would highly recommend!!

A gem of a cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashfields. We received a really warm welcome by the owners when we arrived and the cottage was really comfortable with everything we could possibly need included. It was a great base to explore from and we enjoyed some lovely days out. We had brilliant weather, so explored Dalby Forest, Scarborough, Flamingo Land, Whitby and Sandsend. There is so much to see and do in the locality that we wouldn't hesitate to return and stay in this beautiful cottage again. Thanks Carol and Simon!

Fantastic break at cottage number two

  • 5 of 5

We've recently returned from a lovely holiday at cottage number two. The cottage was spotless and homely, with plenty of space for three generations to stay. The surrounding area has plenty of local attractions and walks on the door step. Recommend dalby forest and flamingoland. We would definitely return.
