About Elizabeth Green

Hello, I'm Liz and have lived in Yorkshire for over 20 years. I have 3 children (aged 20+) and live with my partner Mark close to the city centre. We love York and feel very lucky to be living in such a fantastic city.

We belong to a rowing club based on the Ouse so our weekends often find us sculling or rowing through the beautiful city centre.

We have equipped our apartment to a high standard and hope you will find your stay here as comfortable as we do!

This can be timed and controlled thermostatically in each room for your personal comfort and can be altered by you to suit. Wifi internet access is included. Or directly connect to the broadband hub. Free Parking for 1 car in 4 mins walk away. More can be found in one of several city car parks. More information on these can be provided. A car is not necessary while staying in York as it is a small city and you are close to the centre. Handy supermarkets are just a minute's walk away. We supply helpful maps and directions. There are many great cafes, restaurants and bars in the area. City Screen cinema 2 minutes walk away. Regret not suitable for children under 12. No pets and no smoking. Regret no hen or stag parties. The property has secure entry/videophone access. It is on the top (third) floor of the building & there is a lift. Secure bike store. Outside: The apartment is situated down one of York's quaint "snickleways". There are wonderful views across the higgledy-piggledy York rooftops as we are located at the top of the building. Utility Room: Iron and ironing board, drying rack, vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials (Please note these are provided in a spacious store cupboard rather then a utility room. Hot Water tank also in here.) Plenty of room for storage of shoes and coats. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Weekly cleaning if stay exceeds one week, with changes of towels and linen. Other: Mezzanine level accessed by staircase from living area. Featuring desk, lamp, easy chair, large sofabed. Velux skylight windows make it wonderfully light. Excellent for chilling out or working. Carpeted, with Turkish rug and beautiful artworks.

Well equipped and furnished apartment right in the centre of York perfect for our weekend stay

The property is excellently situated in the centre of the city giving instant access into the heart of York, and just a short step from the station. A lovely modern property that was both warm and quiet that was well stocked with supplies which was a pleasant surprise after a long train journey. Liz met us at the property to show us around as well as having provided a wealth of information and recommendations perfect for people who do not know the city well. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the city.

fabulous city centre apartment

This is a fabulous apartment, right in the city centre (but not noisy!). The apartment is beautifully furnished, has everything you would need and more .... and has incredibly comfy beds. Liz, the owner adds amazing personal touches that really made our stay. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Amazing location 5* Apartment

We had a lovely few days in York. We stayed in Elizabeth's Apartments with family and had an amazing time. The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything fully equipped for our stay away in York. Elizabeth met us at the apartment as showed us the ropes. Wonderful hideaway in the middle of York.

We so enjoyed staying at this lovely apartment overlooking the rooftops of York's historic centre. The flat is incredibly well supplied and full of personal touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bedrooms quiet with super comfortable beds and the main area perfect for relaxing in. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
