Three en suite bedrooms - sleeps six

Recently renovated, traditional Andalucian Finca only for let in JULY and AUGUST. All modern appliances (Bultaup kitchen with ice maker fridge freezer and dishwasher), air conditioning and large, heated pool. Private poolside seating with loungers, open terrace and shaded seating area. Garden designed by renowned UK designer. Fountain in courtyard. BBQ and two outside dining areas (one in the shade). Bedrooms and bathrooms designed by Melissa Wyndham and Company. Spanish painted furniture designed by Made in Manilva. Laundry room with washing machine. House is situated within twelve acres of privately owned olive grove bordering the National Park, which hosts a huge variety of marked walking trails. The town of Competa is a fifteen minute drive. This town has a variety of restaurants, shops, pharmacies and a doctor and dentist. The smaller hamlets of Canillas de Albaida and Archez are within ten minutes, both have bars and restaurants.

Amenities: El Bolinar is situated 1/4 mile down a dirt track through olive groves directly off an 'A' road, which joins the Competa to Algarrobo main road. Malaga is approximately one hour and Granada one and a half hours. The golf course is approximately a 30 minute drive, as is the closest beach. The popular resort of Nerja is forty minutes away.

A perfect Retreat

This Finca is well founded and clean . Within easy reach of Malaga airport. Comfortable and cosy with magnificent views. Plenty shade and a long swimming pool for those feeling more energetic! A perfect get-away. Interesting and varied walks within easy reach. Plenty restuarants in Competa and nearby with delicious local dishes. Hope to return soon.

elle a un charme fou ,, la piscine est agréable et sans vis à vis , la maison est de plein pied ce qui est très confortable . Il y a un petit patio magnifique .Nous sommes tombés amoureux de ce petit bijou , cela fait plusieurs années que nous y séjournons avec grand plaisir -:)!!

Perfect Holiday

Beautiful, well-appointed, spacious house with enchanting garden in stunning, tranquil setting. Everything you sit on or lie on is comfortable - even the loungers around the pool! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for style and comfort. We arrived frazzled and after a week at El Bolinar we were soothed and revived.

This is a five star Finca

We stayed in this beautiful Finca last year . It is in the most perfect location.The house has been done up to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean . The pool is safe for children and elderly and again very well maintained . We could not recommend this more highly and are looking forward to taking it again this year.

WE really cant fault this amazing property, it was the height of luxury it had everything that we desired lovely clean pool amazing views .The house had been well cleaned and we found the beds very comfortable . We found plenty to do locally including great shops and restauirants in Competa

Finca El Bolinar is situated 1 hour north east of Malaga and is on the edge of the national park with wonderful scenery and walks. It is extremely comfortable with three twin bedrooms and en suite bathrooms/showers. The house is situated in its own 12 acre olive grove with a winding track up the mountain to the house. The track is a dead end with just 3 working fincas above it. There is a caretaker/gardener that lives in a smaller property at the bottom of the hill. There is a good size swimming pool terrace and two outside eating areas one in the shade. There is a fountain in the middle of the courtyard and the kitchen/dining room are in the old part of the finca along with the master bedroom the other two bedrooms and drawing-room are accommodated in the new part of the house. Competa a busy market town with its own bodega to sample the local wine is a 15 minute drive, Archez 2 km and Canillas de Albaida 10 minutes all are well appointed.

Golf: Golf course at Algarrobo - thirty minute drive. Views of the sea.

Ski: Ski-ing in the Sierra Nevada about one and a half hours drive.

We can organise a chef and maid, if required, during your stay. They are non-resident. Chef is English and maid is Spanish. There is a resident gardener/caretaker living in a cottage belonging to the property, who comes every evening to water the garden. If you should have any problems with gas/water/electricity, he will be able to help you.
