Steven Crockett purchased this cottage in 2010
We brought this property as it has fantastic views and the opportunity of a small holiday business, in a great location coast and countryside holidays.
Great accommodation, great views, the location is central to a whole host of things to see and do. Dogs welcome. Dog exercise paddock. Five star reviews.

A lovely stay, in a beautiful setting with an amazing view. We found the barn really comfortable and decorated to a top standard. Thank you
We have just got back from a long weekend away at Winllan farm where we stayed in the barn and our friends and family stayed in the pod. We have all had an excellent weekend and would highly recommend this to anybody wanted a relaxing getaway. The accomadation was immaculate and every detail has been well thought through. The owners of Winllan farm are welcoming and friendly and offered brilliant advice on activities to keep us entertained. We took our dogs with us for our weekend away and they have enjoyed it just as much as we have, each morning they have been able to run around in the field which is enclosed in to ensure they do not escape! Essential when you have dogs that like to chase sheep! We will all be returning to Winllan farm for another weekend break and will be highly recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you for a brilliant holiday :-) xx
Top class accommodation that is even better than the photos! The views from the balcony were stunning & we were able to enjoy them over breakfast and a mug of tea before bed! Everything was finished to a high standard and it was very clean. We were a bit concerned not being dog people that there may be dog hair from other users but you would never know there had been a dog in there! They hadn’t scrimped when the put together the barn and have thought of everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return, as well as recommend it to others. A great find!!
We came across Winllan Farm when searching for 'dog friendly' holidays and first went in 2013 to one of the caravans. We were so impressed that we booked the barn as soon as we were able for 2014. The accommodation is superb - clean and modern - but also comfortable and functional. The views are outstanding and the peace and quiet priceless. Steve and Jeanette are lovely and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There are plenty of places to visit and we've never seen a traffic jam! Waking up to the sound of nearby sheep and cows is the best way to come round. The barn is perfect for families (with a dog) needing a break, as you are guaranteed to come home with fully charged batteries. The perfect, stress-free escape. Highly recommended 😃👍
We stayed at the Plucking Barn for a week, and the barn is absolutely wonderful, very luxurious with everything you could/would need. I loved the shower! The paddock was great to exercise our dog. We loved Stanley and Travis too, well Frank did! The barn is in a great location for exploring and we were out every day with our dog and a picnic. Some lovely beach walks close by. We are definitely intending to return next year for another week in Spring, and can't wait. Steve and Jeanette are excellent hosts.
After staying at the Barn for 3 nights i can honestly say this place is a hidden Gem!
The location is stunning, Steve and Janette are so welcoming and such a lovely couple. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Was the listing description accurate regarding the location and facilities?
The property was immaculate and you can see the pride that they both have in the property.
I would definitely recommend this property to all my friends and family, Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or just somewhere to unwind and relax this certainly does the trick.
There are an abundance of local attractions, plenty of local shops/pubs to visit should you wish.
We will certainly be returning here this year.
Top break :)
