Beautiful little cottage. Great location. Very friendly owners.
Lovely 2 night stay just to get away. Cottage was extremely clean and tidy. Cosy with the log burner lit. Definitely will be coming again.thankyou Will and Julie.
we had a very relaxing stay . the coach house was cosy clean and quiet. We where made to feel very welcome( thankyou to the chickens for providing fresh eggs) .The cottage is in a great situation near the moors for great walks, the dog had a wonderful time . The village is nearby, great area to explore. we wished we could have stayed longer. thankyou again Fiona & phil
Very comfortable cottage that ticked all the boxes for us.
Was pleased with cottage and its aspect as it had a distant view to next hill from one side which was good if one's a weather watcher and going out somewhere. Pleased with interior of cottage, its charm, its layout, and its cleanliness. A bowl of 6 fresh eggs on kitchen worktop when we arrived and some tea and coffee left for us (a very grateful thank you to a thoughtful owner). We had a very comfortable week at the cottage. Enjoyed the tranquility and listening to early morning birds songs and watched through the windows the antics of grey squirrels, a pheasant who briefly appeared when the chickens were fed on the morning, and spotted a Jay too. The only downside was the shower - temperature gauge needs looking at.
Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. With regards to the shower, I will contact the plumber.
we spent a weekend here, Unfortunately we didn't get there until late in the evening but this was no problem as arrangements had already been made. The hosts dog welcomed us on arrival and actually walked us down to the cottage which was warm and inviting. Great walks around the area and lovely fish and chips in the village. Everyone in the area we met spoke and were all polite and inviting. Local shop is well stocked and the staff very helpful. Loved the short break and we shall return. x
Glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Looking forward to seeing you both soon.
As cosy and comfortable as ever!
Another lovely stay in this pretty cottage. My friend and I had a great time walking on the moors in the day and then relaxing by the log burner in the evening. The cottage was as cosy and comfortable as ever, and our friendly chicken neighbours provided us with some very tasty eggs for our breakfast! We'll definitely be back again.
The cottage was lovely, warm and cosy. We took our dog Lucy with us and it was really nice to walk her straight from the cottage. Though it only took a few minutes to drive straight onto the moors where there were plenty of places to walk. The owners were very friendly and helpful the chickens were adorable and loved being stroked such a peaceful place. We hope to return one day and with luck it will be sunny.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again soon.
