About Siobhan Dodds
I am a children's book writer, my partner is a doctor at a local hospital and together we have a 13 year old son. We have travelled a lot ourselves and have used Owners Direct many times in many countries so have a fairly good idea what to provide for you.
Siobhan Dodds purchased this Bungalow in 2007
Why Siobhan Dodds chose Saltdean
The best thing about the location of the house is the fact we are nestled between the beach and the stunning national park. (South Downs )with it's beautiful villages and churches. We are on a great bus route into Brighton with easy access to Gatwick airport and London.

Lovely clean Bungalow
Arrived for a 3 night stay last Friday. The bungalow was clean and definitely home from home, welcome hamper was lovely touch. Everything you needed was available from music, tv, PlayStation etc.... the decking outside was a great sun trap.
We would definitely recommend and hope to book again soon for longer next time.
Really liked the property; had everything we needed and more.
When we arrived we found that Siobhan had left a lovely welcome hamper . The bungalow was very comfortable with a lovely garden and patio area. We were ideally situated for easy access into Brighton, left the car in the drive and either walked or used the regular bus service,. There was a large television with Netflix and a big selection of dvd’s In the lounge, along with a good selection of family board games. Thank you Siobhan, we had a fab break in Salt Dean.
Lovely well maintained and equipped house
Really enjoyed our stay - the house has everything you need and we really appreciated the milk, welcome hamper and kitchen stuff that was provided. Easy to get into Brighton with regular bus, and well-stocked co-op nearby. Beds were on the soft side (but that’s down to personal preference I guess), otherwise could not fault it.
Really homely, well equipped accommodation. We loved it!
Great quiet location away from hussle and bussle but close enough for exploring the local area (by bus or car). Local shops very handy and house is well equipped if you plan to cook. Very clean and nicely presented with a homely feel. Friendly easy going owner. Welcome pack much appreciated! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The kids are already asking when!!
Lovely welcoming home from hom
Well after a stressful journey it was lovely to get to the location to find it so welcoming beds made, clean, warm and even milk tea coffee along with the hamper!! Highly recommended and already looking at booking for May/June 2019
Great bungalow, lovely location, fantastic weekend break
Although the weather was cold our stay in Saltdean was great. The bungalow was very well equipped and had everything we could have possibly wanted. Siobhan had even provided a bottle of wine and some goodies for our arrival. Thank you! There are shops nearby including a Coop. The local fish and chip shop served a very good cod and chips which went down very well on our first evening. We used the buses to get into central Brighton and the beach was only a short walk away. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend. Thank you again Siobhan.
