A lovely, clean and stylish bungalow situated between the South Downs National Park and the sea. Great bus service to Brighton and Eastbourne, with excellent links to London and Gatwick. Sleeps 4 to 6 people. Ideal for families.

There is plenty of parking and a parade of local shops selling food supplies.

There are lovely coastal walks as well as downland walks to enjoy..

The property has been fully equipped to feel like its home from home.

About Siobhan Dodds

I am a children's book writer, my partner is a doctor at a local hospital and together we have a 13 year old son. We have travelled a lot ourselves and have used Owners Direct many times in many countries so have a fairly good idea what to provide for you.

The best thing about the location of the house is the fact we are nestled between the beach and the stunning national park. (South Downs )with it's beautiful villages and churches. We are on a great bus route into Brighton with easy access to Gatwick airport and London.

What makes this bungalow unique

The property offers parking at he front as well as off road parking. Just around the corner there is a parade of shops selling all the provisions you may need. However, we have made sure you are supplied with some basic items for your convenience. Constant hot water is available and central heating for your use as well as clean bedlinen and towels. We as owners live nearby, so any issues you may have can be remedied straight away.

Lovely welcoming home from hom

Well after a stressful journey it was lovely to get to the location to find it so welcoming beds made, clean, warm and even milk tea coffee along with the hamper!! Highly recommended and already looking at booking for May/June 2019

Great bungalow, lovely location, fantastic weekend break

Although the weather was cold our stay in Saltdean was great. The bungalow was very well equipped and had everything we could have possibly wanted. Siobhan had even provided a bottle of wine and some goodies for our arrival. Thank you! There are shops nearby including a Coop. The local fish and chip shop served a very good cod and chips which went down very well on our first evening. We used the buses to get into central Brighton and the beach was only a short walk away. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend. Thank you again Siobhan.

comfortable and cosy. a real home from home

Despite the poor weather we had a very enjoyable break in Saltdean.

Staying at this bungalow was like staying in someone's home rather than a rented property . It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly want even down to the Christmas decorations! It was in a good location with shops nearby and the buses were so frequent we didn't take the car out at all. Thank you Siobhan. We would like return sometime soon.

A great stay in a great home

The bungalow was in an ideal location for getting in and out of Brighton, and located next to some lovely walks in the downs. The property was very comfortable and came with everything you can think of, including the added touch of Christmas decorations for our stay over the Christmas break! The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. My family and I would recommend this rental to anyone thinking of coming down to this area of the coast. It was perfect!

Lovely clean warm bungalow ideal for a family

Perfect from start to finish. Lovely warm bungalow with everything you need, kitchen very well equipped, plenty of towels and clean beds. Men well entertained with TV having the sport channel. Can't wait to stay in Summer as bungalow has a nice garden - bonus having own parking as we arrived late at night. Siobhan had everything ready for us. Hamper very nice touch.

10 minutes walk to beach. There is a lovely under cliff walk all the way along the coast to Brighton and beyond. Great for walks and cycling.

Booking Notes:
Please submit enquiries via the website.
A minimum deposit of 20% is required on booking, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival must be paid in full at time of booking. Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 5 working days and must be secured by receipt of deposit/full payment, as appropriate.
A security deposit is required of £200 for damages and breakages is refunded within 5 days of departure, following a post-visit inspection.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
