About Marie Lovell
We live in Bristol but love St Ives! Its easy to do! We are so excited to be able to share this lovely holiday cottage with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We have a son who loves the place as much as us and it has been a family affair in renovating our lovely holiday home.
Marie Lovell purchased this Cottage in 2012
Why Marie Lovell chose St Ives
When we saw this property for sale we were so excited. Its in an ideal location. While only being 8 minutes walk from the harbour, its far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town life. Although it is in the town, when you are sat in the back garden you feel you are a million miles away!
What makes this Cottage unique
We are happy with our cottage as it its close to all amenities and offers sea views from the back garden and a suntrap if you want to stay close to home for the day. We also offer a car parking space which carries an additional cost.

Situated a perfect distance from town! A lovely traditional little cottage!!
As we know St Ives well we knew exactly where ‘Happy Days’ was... a five minute walk up the hill out of town..perfect!! Though no parking with the cottage parking is super easy up at the rugby club so no probs whatsoever. The cottage was lovely and clean...the owners have put a fab new bathroom in and also the bedrooms are super comfy, the main bedroom being really spacious. Theres a lovely terrace to sit out(and see the sea!) and outside lights which were lovely! The kitchen though small was fine and well equipped for what we wanted. The lounge was equipped with plenty of seating for four (inc dining table etc) and had tv/dvd/stereo and the essential wifi for the kids!! The only downside was (why we didnt score a 5) that the lounge was a little dark and seemed a little damp...but there again it is a character property which is old so you would expect this? I love how the original features have been retained and have been tastefully included in the ‘seaside’ theme to the cottage. The owners were more than helpful with any questions/requests that we had. Overall a really good value little cottage within 5 mins of beautiful St Ives...what more could you want?!
Lovely place to stay ....Marie was very helpful and accommodating ...perfect the most comfortable beds ever ...would definately recommend a stay ...
