Beaches are a 7min drive. Table mountain is all around. The CTICC convention centre is a 10 min walk. Long Street, Bree Street, Green Market Square and much more!

once Weekly service of cottage by housekeeper if required - after 5 days.

We provide the first electricity which will last for 3-5 days.

Extra electricity is on a top up basis

in summer 15 - 30 Rand and in winter as it may be cold you should be using about 20- 50 Rand a day - depending on how much you like to use appliances, heaters etc and how many there are of you..

We also provide a start up pack of toilet paper etc and then guests are under their own steam as ours is a self catering service.

Parking - On street - don't leave anything in your car - it will probably not be there when you go back....

Personal laundry and ironing

As the homes are all decorated with beautiful things please enjoy and look after them. Anything that is not being used can be put away to make you more comfortable so please don't hesitate to speak up.


Check in- starts from 14:00 and check out is strictly set at 10:00am.

The keys- will be handed over at the meet and greet by the housekeeper on arrival.


if you are arriving after 17:00 please let us know and we will send you the details for the lockbox.


Please look after the keys as there will be a 1000.00ZAR fine for lost keys. They are expensive to replace.

Please do not smoke inside - all accommodation has outside areas you are welcome to enjoy when smoking.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets and furry friends.

Please limit alcohol to indoors.

Please keep noise levels down after 10.00pm

Please park with consideration.


This area is great for proximity to the city - its vibrant and bustling until about 10.00pm. There are a few things to note.

This is a historically Malay area and the call to prayer can be heard from the cottage. This is a non-alcoholic community so please respect that by keeping your spirits indoors and your noise down after 10.00pm.

People are friendly and parking is limited during work hours. After, before 8 am and weekends are relatively relaxed parking times and you will find parking with no trouble but please respect the use of cones.

This is a friendly community and truly illustrates the rainbow nation Welcome to Africa.

There are house manuals inside the apartments, please ensure you read the manual as it contains important information such as the alarm codes, wi-fi passwords and how to access Netflix

This is a beautiful property in a historic area of Cape Town, so full of character.

The property was amazing, we all wanted to live there! Josie has done a brilliant job making it look and feel both luxurious and homely at the same time. The Bo-Kaap area of Cape Town is vibrant and characterful and I would really recommend staying here rather than a faceless hotel or a new apartment without character. Josie was a great host, easy to contact and so helpful. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this property for a holiday.
