The house is well suited for family groups looking for a 'home from home' in beautiful South Devon. It has two double bedrooms and a single bedroom and bathroom with walk-in shower upstairs and a modern kitchen, comfy sitting room/dining room downstairs with patio doors leading to an attractive garden at the rear of the property. There is a garage/utility room with a pool/snooker table and the property has gas central heating and off-road parking for two vehicles.

About Mr and Mrs C Robson

We are both Devon born and when we were growing up we used to visit Exmouth with our families for the summer holidays. We loved the countryside and sandy beaches and there were always plenty of interesting places to visit and things to do for all of the family.

Why Mr and Mrs C Robson chose East Devon

We were delighted to have the opportunity to buy our holiday home in Exmouth in December last year and have taken pleasure in preparing it for holiday use for the first time in the summer of 2013. We hope that you will find it a lovely place to stay.

What makes this house unique

Our holiday home is well located for staying in central Devon, being close to many amenities, ranging from town to country to beach, dependent on where your own interests lie.

Notes on accommodation: Off road parking for 2 vehicles and garage suitable for safe storage of bikes, small boat, trailer, jetski, etc. Sorry no pets. No large non-family groups, Hen Parties or Stag Parties. No additional guests other than those detailed on the Booking Form are permitted to 'sleep over'. Outside: Attractive well stocked garden at the rear of the property mainly laid to paving with garden furniture. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, garden lighting switch. Pool/Snooker table. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Gas, Electricity and Water charges included and towels and bed linen provided (changed weekly). The property is cleaned weekly.

Lovely comfortable homely property!

We really enjoyed our stay of 5 nights and wished it was longer! It was like home from home at everything was provided to have a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. We do know the area and it was lovely to have local shops nearby and a lovely fish and chip shop.

We will definitely be back for longer next time as it makes a good base for exploring Devon and Cornwall.

Home from home but near to the sea!

This was our second holiday at Avonlea. It didn't dissapoint, our stay was just as enjoyable as the first. The house enjoys a nice quiet location on the outskirts of Exmouth with its own off-road parking. The house was again spotless and very well equipped. The communication with Colin and Jo was excellent. The best recommendation that we can give is that we have already booked to return in October. Dave and Sandra.

Spacious, warm and very accommodating owners

What a lovely time we had at the property, we were staying for work and it was a pleasant base to come home to after a long day; near shops, pub and eateries in a quiet cul-de-sac.

We were very impressed with the setup and had lots of fun on the pool table!

We had organised a mid-stay housekeeping due to staff switchover that was agreed at a very reasonable price so the owner is very accommodating.

Certainly hope to be returning same time next year.

Only 10 miles from Exeter International Airport and the motorway. Leave the M5 at junction 30 at Exeter, turn south on A376 (the Exmouth Road at the 1st roundabout after the motorway by Clyst St Mary) to Clyst St. George, fork left travelling onward through Lympstone and straight on to Exmouth

From Exeter City centre (Riverside) take the Topsham Road south for 3 km (2 miles) through the Countess Wear roundabout and 3 km (2 miles) to Topsham and continue by Lympstone to Exmouth

Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of the booking conditions. 25% deposit is required (this is non refundable) with the balance paid within 6 weeks of the start of the holiday). Shorter Breaks (3 days minimum) are normally 70% of weekly tariff (minimum £195) dependent on availability.
