Guestbook comments from the owner

An idyllic retreat. Stunning views, wonderful food and excellent accommodation. This is our third year and we will be booking for next year again.

The cottages are outstanding. The family, as ever, are really welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. Brad really enjoyed feeding the sheep, playing golf with Maisy and Rob and getting spoilt rotten be the family. He said that he is going to learn how to make omelettes the using the eggs that he collected from the chickens.

Kind regards Paula, Steve, & Bradley - June 2013

A warm welcome after our long drive. The welsh cakes, flowers and cosy, clean, warm cottage made us feel at home. Petting the sheep, feeding the chickens and collecting eggs for our breakfast were firsts for us. Enjoying the Pembrokeshire beaches, Narbeth shops and St. Davids and coming home to a delicious home cooked meal by Rob.Natasha Rhodes (March 2013).

Fantastic property and idilic setting!

  • 5 of 5

On arrival Gwen had kindly put away our shopping, filled the cottage with fresh cut flowers and left Welsh cakes for us and chocolate buttons for the children! We had a fantastic week staying in Cowslip cottage on the farm. We enjoyed feeding the chickens and fish, stroking the sheep and playing ball with Maisy the resident sheepdog. There was lots to do in close proximity and plenty of beautiful beaches to visit. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable, although we didn't do much cooking as we enjoyed the lovely home cooked meals cooked by Gwen and delivered by Alan after long days exploring. We loved it so much we will be back at Easter to feed the lambs!
