Number 3 The Old School Sleeps 8 (3 Bedrooms)

Created from the South West Hall of the school, number 3 provides spacious accommodation, on three levels, with a modern fun feel. The house comprises a large dining kitchen please note seating around table is for 6' (incl. Dishwasher and washing machine) with French doors onto the rear garden. On this level, there is a twin bedroom.

A short flight of stairs (not for the elderly or very young) in the entrance hall leads down to what was the old school hall. On the ground floor to the rear there is a large double plus twin bedroom, to the front there is the master double bedroom with en suite (bath and shower). The large family bathroom sits in between the two bedrooms (bath only).

A beautiful feature staircase leads up to the first floor open plan living area, where there is a flat screen tv with dvd and freeview, and a full size pub pool table (don’t worry, it’s free!).

Externally, there is a large lawn to the rear of the house, ample parking, and the school yard.

Welcome to The Old School Bamburgh, situated on the Northumberland coastline, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The Old School is located centrally within picturesque Bamburgh village, with its fine selection of pubs and places to eat, literally on the doorstep. A short walk of 200 yards takes you to the village green and cricket pitch, nestling within the huge whinstone outcrop that supports the magnificent Bamburgh Castle. Another 200 yards (up the hill mind!), and you are at the gates of the Castle. The beach at Bamburgh is one of the best anywhere, with miles of unspoilt sand, rock pools, and dunes, all just a 5 minute walk from the school. For the golfers, we are less than a mile from Bamburgh Castle Golf Club, often referred to as one of the most picturesque courses in the country. Further a field, the busy harbour town of Seahouses is 4 miles by road; Lindisfarne/Holy Island is 16 miles, as is historic Alnwick, with its magnificent castle and gardens.
