We all love spending time in Marina Vista, we relax the moment we walk through the door.
Helen Walker purchased this house in 2009
We have been to Weymouth every year since I can remember, staying in various cottages. It has always been a dream of ours to have our own house there. We were lucky enough to be able to do this in 2009, and have loved making the house bright and welcoming with hopefully, everything needed for a fabulous holiday. The house is perfectly located for a walk into town or the beach. As a family we enjoy spending time on the beach and running around Nothe Gardens, which are a short walk away.
There is so much to see and do from Marina Vista, though sometimes we just stay in and soak up the view!
We love the fact that everything is on our doorstep, we can walk to the beach, the town, the old harbour, restaurants and the cinema. We also enjoy walking and cycling along the Rodwell Trail to The Isle of Portland.
We just wanted to drop a line to say what a fantastic holiday we had last week and how much we enjoyed the house. The views were really outstanding and the location was perfect. We also very much appreciated the wine and general thought that had gone into the decor.
Thanks again for a wonderful holiday in Marina Vista, the fact that we have chosen to stay there for the last four years says it all! Looking forward to next year already!
We had a great holiday. Easy, friendly booking with Helen. Delighted with the house, didn't want to come home! Spotlessly clean, well equipped, lovely decor and ideally located.
Have fallen in love with Weymouth and the house. We will be back!
Lovely house, lovely weather, amazing place. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay the views are amazing within walking distance of everything, we had a good meal at The Ship on the harbour and fish and chips at the Seagull, the children loved the fairground next to the sandy beach. Our wifi decided to give up but after phoning the owner it was all sorted within a very short space of time. A very nice bottle of pinot awaited us as well as flowers and a welcome pack, loads of tea bags, coffee etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.
Very comfortable house, great location and uninterrupted views overlooking the harbour, you can't go wrong!
You have all the facilities in walking distance about 5 mins to Asda 5 mins to harbour 10 mins to beach.
The house is lovely and spacious very well equipped kitchen, very clean and comfortable, even toys lots of toys for the little ones my 6 year old daughter was extremely happy with this! Lots of towels and clean bedding. The court yard to the back of the house was lovely to sit in very tranquil,
Owner Helen is very quick to respond to any queries and she very kindly packed up clothes I had forgotten thank you Helen!,
Will definitely book again
We were lucky enough to have discovered the house for a holiday earlier this year, and were eager to stay again. We fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the door. Beautiful decor and very welcoming. Lovely seaside touches throughout. Fantastic views over the marina. Had breakfast at the little table in the bay window every morning. Very well equipped kitchen, and lovely extras.
Helen, the owner was friendly and very helpful with all my questions! Fast responses every time.
We loved the fact we could park the car and walk to the harbour, beach and town.
Looking forward to holiday number 3 very soon.
We felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. The house is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The living/dining room is very large, plenty of room for a family. You get fantastic views from the bedroom windows and there's a beautiful little yard with lots of toys if you have kids with you.
The location couldn't be much better! You're just a short walk from the town, the beach and many many fantastic chip shops, restaurants and pubs.
Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended.
Really nice location above the old harbour with direct view. Ideally located: 5 min walk to town and shopping area, 5 min to big supermarket. Close to beach and wonderful park above the sea, for a walk or jogging. All in all prima for even small children- enough toys in the house for rainy days- and various nice things to do in the surroundings. Heating is working perfectly, just like dishwasher and all other attributes. Small garden in the backyard, fully western oriented granting a wonderful afternoon sunbath on the wooden bench:)
