Fordingbridge Cabin Rental Photos and Description

House in Godshill, Fordingbridge, New Forest, Hampshire, England - Fantastic Views

The Cabin is situated on our Farm and offers a wonderful space for you to visit and explore this area. The North side of the Forest is quieter and less well known but just as beautiful. The wonderful expanse of open heathland and wooded enclosures make it ideal for both family and couple retreat holidays. Our village pub the Fighting Cocks is a 10min walk and offers a wide selection of food and Ale, and is surrounded by the village common where the ponies and cattle grazes freely.

Perfect forest hideaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and spacious and contained everything we needed. It's in a wonderful position as you are in the midst of the forest - tranquil, close to wonderful walks, and within easy reach of Fordingbridge. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We hope to return.

Stunningly beautiful. Everything you could want

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very easy to find, the location was amazing, wild horses right on the door step (or rather behind the gate). The cabin its self was very clean and tidy, comfortable beds and good linen. Plenty of space for the four of us. The garden was well kept, a good size and private. The veranda is a nice touch, although very slippery when wet. The furnishings are good quality and well kept. The owners were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome but on the most they stayed away and left us too it, which is how we like it. We knew they were there if we needed anything. The owners 2 dogs were a real treat, Prudence especially found a way into our hearts. The children loved her enthusiasm. There is a gate at the entrance of the Cabin that you can leave open if you dont mind the dogs or close if you would rather they stayed away. phone signal is a bit hit and miss in the area but the cabin had good Wi-Fi.

Beyond the beautiful wildlife and walks, there is loads to do in the area, The local towns are pretty and if you have kids then Fordingbridge park is a must with their free paddling pool, large playground, cafe, picnic tables and river. The fighting Cock pub was only 10 minutes walk away and seemed to always have a gathering of wild ponies there, they have a small play area for the children too. Prices are a bit on the high side though.

We are all hoping to visit again.

From beginning to end, the Cabin was perfect. The surroundings were beautiful. Tina and Tom were very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal, close to nature but easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. This a wonderful place to spend a few days or longer. Summer or Winter... We would recommend this Cabin to anyone wanting a quiet break in the New Forest..Perfect..with lots of nice extra touches by the owners...

Lovely cabin and very well equipped with everything we needed, cooking equipment, towels linen etc. very clean and a great base for us to explore the area. We went walking locally and cycling in moors valley park. Great local pub too. Hospitality also fantastic very friendly owner.
