North Yorkshire Coast Holidays is a family run business, located in the picturesque village of Hunmanby. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and we endeavor to make your experience with us a memorable one.

From the moment we receive your initial enquiry to the moment you depart (after hopefully a thoroughly enjoyable stay), we are only ever a click or call away. We aim to reply to all emails within 24 hours and answer calls on a daily basis in our dedicated office.

Fantastic house, lovely village

This was a surprise for my 40th birthday, all I asked for was something comfortable,and Cosey to spend time with my children and dogs. This house didn't disappoint at all, beautifully furnitished and a real homely feel. The house has amazing space both inside and out.

The village offers deli shops and fantastic local products, that we enjoyed with a glass of wine looking at an open fire. Lovely place , have booked already for Easter.

We stayed for 3 nights on a break to celebrate 2 friends birthdays. The property is fabulous with everything you need the hot tub being a bonus. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We didnt have to leave the village as Hunmansby has a variety of shops, pubs and takeaways. We would definatley return infact one of our party has already booked to take her family next year.

Beautiful place

We stayed here as a party of friends, it is a beautiful house in a lovely little village, the little touches of the tea coffee and home made cakes where such a lovely touch.

The village it's self was nice, even though you are next door to the pub we never noticed much noise.

We didn't venture too far, but it would be an ideal base to visit Scarborough, Whitby and the Yorkshire dales.

Would highly recommend :)

Lovely property and great base for exploring

We had a week at Denmark House at the end of May and were very impressed with the house itself and the location. Very well equipped and quiet, in spite of its central location in the village and a perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. We made much use of the walled garden (a perfect safe place for our 2 dogs to run around in) and the hot tub was lovely and relaxing after long walks in the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back again.

Brilliant !!

stayed in Denmark House for a week over Easter 6 adults, two children,a one year old and dogs and have to say it was brilliant. the house has everything you need and plenty of space for those who need a bit of quiet time. Hot tub and walled secure garden are lovely and the village itself has everything you need on the doorstop. Great pub next door with friendly staff and which serves good food. Booking was easy and professional and breakages deposit returned promptly. would definitely return and recommend North Yorkshire Coast Holidays and Denmark House for a super holiday.

Excellent, trouble free stay

Stayed here over half term with another family, so there were 8 of us in total. The house is big enough and has large rooms so we never felt like we were under each other's feet.

Some nice touches such as tea, coffe and fresh bun were a welcome surprise. The location is great in a nice village with well stocked shops and a cracking butchers within 2 minutes walk.

Hot tub too was an added bonus and the kids loved this. I would recommend to all, with the only negative comment being the quality of the knives, so take a sharp one!

Coast/Beach:

Filey is 3.5 miles away and boasts a 5 mile stretch of award winning sandy beach. Chalets are available to rent from Scarborough Borough Council. Access can also be gained to the beach at Primrose Valley, Hunmanby Gap and Reighton Gap. A great place to stroll, relax, eat ice cream, fossil hunt, paddle, swim and surf.

Travel:

There is a train station and bus stop in Hunmanby. A car is not essential as you can get the bus or train to Filey, Scarborough or Bridlington and go on the beach and access all the facilities there. We can give you directions when you call to arrange the key collection.

Distances:

A short drive leads to the heart of the seaside town of Filey with its 5-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beach. Hunmanby Gap, one of the East Coast's best kept secrets, has rock pools and fossil hunting. Scarbrough, Bridlington and Flamborough are easily accessible. Coastal and countryside walks surround the area, from energetic walks to leisurely strolls; cycle trails and tracks and the Cleveland Way and Wolds Way offer unrivalled distance walks.

Further Details:

There is a supermarket, cashpoint, hairdressers, pubs, takeaways, leisure centre, cafe and doctors in Hunmanby. Filey offers more facilities which include the beach, shops, cafes, amusement arcades, restaurants and banks. Scarborough and Bridlington are the larger towns that have the larger retail stores and swimming pools.

Notes on accommodation: There is ample public parking in the square in front of the property. If you have any special requirements for your stay or any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. Outside: There is a 20ft private, secluded walled garden to the rear, with seating and a barbecue. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided. If you are staying for a week or less these will not be changed. The property will not be cleaned whilst you are staying. If you require these services please discuss with the owner as there will be an additional cost. Other: Up to 2 dogs are welcome but we ask that they remain on the ground floor at all times, and are not left in the property unattended. All pets must be flead 7 days prior to arrival.
