About judith clemo

I am Judith Clemo,my husband and I own and manage the cottages here at Tregongeeves farm. We are Cornish born and bred, with lots of local knowledge which we love to share. I grew up on a farm where my parents welcomed guests, this began my passion for the holiday industry in Cornwall. Having owned Tregongeeves almost two decades we take pride in our properties and guests return annually.

My animals are my pride and joy and I take great pleasure in sharing them with guests young and old. Guests are invited to help collect eggs, brush the donkeys - even help me muck out a stable if you like! I now have the added help from my three young grand children some days which is a great pleasure.

Why judith clemo chose Cornwall

We are family who pride themselves on the stay we provide for you. We want you to see the Cornwall we love and enjoy day in day out, whilst having a warm, beautiful cottage to call your home during your visit.

We love the area, along with the cottages our daughter and son with their partners manage holiday parks just two miles from the cottages so you will see our passion for providing holidays no matter how long or short your stay.

The south coast beaches are just a short drive away, we often walk the coastal footpaths, recently I have become an expert rockpooler again at nearby Porthpean, thanks to my three grandchildren. The beauty of Cornwall is there is a beach, garden, restaurant, museum or fishing village to suit your taste as it is a County full of history, culture and amazing food!

What makes this cottage unique

We hope you will find the cottages as we would hope to find them when we go on our holidays. We have years of experience and we have a family touch; the little details have been thought about so you don't have to think about them. From a full selection of baby and toddler equipment to tennis rackets for you to borrow - we want you to relax, rewind and recharge whilst staying with us.

Tregongeeves is central for touring Cornwall, Newquay on the north coast is 30 mins drive. Lands End is approx one and half hours drive,Padstow 40 mins drive. Guests remark how well equipped the cottages are, even down to baby equipment we believe in every little helps.

Our cottages are snuggled into our beautiful farm surrounded by fields where our various animals live. On the farm you will find pigs, chickens, horses, sheep and even a cheeky Shetland Pony or of whom relish the attention guests give them. We encourage you, no matter what your age or experience to help us collect eggs, brush the animals and even get your hands dirty if you fancy it!

A stones throw from your front door you we find our newly refurbished Play Barn boasting brand new soft play, play house, arts and crafts, table tennis, pool, a dvd library and small gym.

We have a lovely indoor pool, heated to 30 degrees so you can be sure you will have a warm and relaxing dip.Relax in the spa bath adjacent to the pool.

We may be bias, but we love this area and love sharing with our guests all the local secrets. Ask us about our favorite hidden beach that only locals know about, or the woods hiding Cornwall's mining past - it makes it a very special area.

Less than 15 minutes drive away you will find The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project, both of which seem to specialise in fantastic children activities and welcome dogs.

Our nearest beach is Porthpean, offering something for everyone with rock pools this small cove will keep you entertained all day. We spend our summer days digging out pretend boats and finding stones to decorate them with.

In you fancy a family meal and a real Cornish ale the Polgooth Inn is walking distance from the cottages, run by a family they offer a friendly welcome to children & dogs and do great food too.

Locally you will find fantastic access to main roads leading to Truro, Falmoth and further west to St Ives and Penzance. St Austell is well served by buses and trains.
