This is a wonderful ground floor holiday maisonette situated in an ideal area, being only a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. It is a five minute drive to the nearest blue flag beaches and the Zenia Boulevard shopping centre. The property is next to a bus route with an hourly service to both beach and Zenia Boulevard. The famous Playa Flamenca Saturday market is only a ten minute stroll and it is less then ten minutes drive to the three golf courses in Villamartin, two of which are championship courses. Alicante airport is 40 minutes drive and Murcia airport is only a 20 minute drive. The adjacent public park is a popular place to socialise and play petanque making this an ideal family holiday location. Furthermore the lively coastal City of Torrevieja with many bars, shops, restaurants and casino is only a ten minute drive.

Why Adrian Williams chose Orihuela Area

We love this area, for us it is perfect with its blue flag beaches, many restaurants, and ease of accessibility to shops and championship golf courses. The pool and garden area is amazing, we are looking forward to spending as much of our free time as possible staying at the property. Each time we visit we enjoy exploring the area and each time discover something new, being served by two airports is also a great bonus.

What makes this cottage unique

The property is located on the very friendly La Concha community, the adjacent park is in part maintained by La Concha residents, it has a children’s play area and is busy during the summer as a meeting place and recreational area.

Coast/Beach:

The Blue Flagged Cala Estaca Playa Flamenca beach is about a five minute drive or about a twenty-five minute walk, a bus stops near the apartment every hour and stops near the beach and Zenia Boulevard.

Travel:

Alicante airport is about a forty minute drive, transfers can be arranged for up to four passengers for €40 (payable to the driver), each way. The smaller Murcia airport is about twenty minutes drive and transfers can be arranged for €30 each way.

Distances:

Torrevieja, which means 'old tower' is a ten minutes drive, it is a beautiful town, and home to a marina, waterfront market, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, casino and a beautiful church square. It's exquisite palm-lined promenade and board-walk are perfect places to go for an evening stroll.

Further Details:

Flamenca Beach commercial centre is one if the main locations for bars, shops and restaurants. This complex has a variety of restaurants famous for their cosmopolitan cuisine as well as there being live entertainment in the many bars.

Fantastic apartment, a bit dark on veranda due to bushes over growing.

Owner's Response: The bushes are jasmine and an orange tree. They are grown in the local style to provide shade and privacy when using on the veranda. The jasmine releases a lovey scent every evening. We cut them every time we visit, however we do not employ a full time gardener as the cost is prohibitive.

Fabulous Holiday

We loved it, sure to return, key holders were very helpful, Adrian is also, we travelled with a little one, under two, and he had a ball .....everthing very safe for him, pool is fab too . We had family staying local which helped with getting around because they had a hire car, might be something to consider? Hope this is helpful .

fantastic home from home

We stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks. We chose it because we love the area, and the communal pool is one of the nicest in area, we picked the apartment based on the look of the pictures and how helpful Adrian the owner was when enquiring. So so glad we chose it. It was like home from home, well looked after, extremely clean, little extras like the rugs on the floor, coat hangers in the wardrobes, two lovely comfy sofas, made it extra special. You may not think these things important, but having stayed in plenty of apartments and villas with own pools in the local area, to us it made a difference. We treated it as our own home, it was lovely to come back to and relax before going to bed at night, the kids could sit on the floor and play with their toys, comfortable sofas to relax with a book. Two lovely sized bedrooms and a bathroom. A tv with some English channels, the film channel was great to have on whilst getting ready in an evening. Air condition in the living room was lovely, gets cold really quickly, we found if you turned it off after 20 - 30 mins it stayed cool and a really nice temp while we sat and chilled. Lynn and Steve who look after the apartment were great, so friendly and helpful. Everyone round there was really friendly. Its a great location too. lovely lovely lovely what more can I say. Already excited about booking my next one.

My family and I stayed in this apartment in August this year. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and a reasonable size for my husband and I along with our 2 children. The apartment comes with a small garden with some lovely plantation and we enjoyed dining out here. The pool area was great and the children enjoyed many happy hours playing there. The apartment is about a 2 minute walk to a small supermarket and a handful of nice restaurants and the bakery (fresh bread everyday) was a 5 minute walk. Although you don't need a car we would recommend it to fully enjoy all that la Florida and torrevieja has to offer.

The key holders Steve and Lynn were incredibly friendly and accommodating to us, nothing was too much bother for them and the children are still asking when we are going back to visit them!

The owner Adrian was also very helpful, good communication throughout and any queries or questions we had he would respond promptly.

Overall I would have no doubts in recommending booking this apartment, we are looking forward to when we can go back.
