Apartment in Mellieha, Malta - Definitely A Peaceful Location With A Panoramic View

This 3 bedroom apartment is simple but nicely furnished. It comprises a combined living/dining and kitchenette, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. (Maximum sleeping capacity 8) It has a small back yard and a pleasant front terrace enjoying beautiful views of Mellieha church and Ghadira Bay. Ideally located, 5 minutes drive to the most popular beach of Malta and close to shops and bus stops. This is a very spacious and comfortable apartment which includes a washing machine, fans & cable TV. Windows have fly screens.

I live in Mellieha with my 3 kids. I've lived in Mellieha since the age of 6 and would not change it for any other locality. It's a beautiful town with something for everyone......breathtaking views, shops, hotels,restaurants, churches, beaches, countryside, bays, band clubs, horse riding, water sports, ferry service to Gozo & Comino, Popeye Village Film Set but most of all wonderful, friendly people. My father started off the rental business in the late 60's and here I am today carrying on what he started. I love my job!

Why stephanie tedesco chose Mellieha

The property was developed by my father in the late 70's. The apartments are built on a cliff facing the centre of the town and the main road can easily be reached on foot within 10 minutes max.

What makes this apartment unique

One can sit in the balcony and enjoy watching couples entering & leaving the Sanctuary of Our Lady for their wedding ceremony, children playing on the swings, fireworks during the village feast and fireworks being set off from the sister Island of Gozo. The best view, in my opinion, is watching the stunning and splendid view of the sun setting every evening.

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: Accommodation in Flats 3 & 5 are on the first floor whilst Flat 6 is on the second floor. Staircase is wide and steps are low. Apartments are kept very clean. The area is very quiet and neighbours are helpful and friendly. Outside: Apartments have a small back yard (except for flat 6) and a lovely good sized balcony. Roof may also be used and fantastic unobstructed views of Mellieha, Gozo & Comino may be seen from here. Bed linen is provided including blankets, two towels per person and tea towels.

stunning sea view apartment

We had a lovely stay at Stephanie's apartment. It has all the facilities you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The apartment was clean and well maintained according to the description. This is the 2nd time our family have used the apartment and we have recommended it to others. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. We can't wait for the next visit. Stephanie is very helpful and friendly too!

good place to be,

Nice welcome by Stephanie with bread, buter, water, chicken breast and wine. Nice view over Melieha. Quit but close to center. Neighbour has a dog that makes noise like a bullfrog. Good parking for our rental car. Breathtaking view. Big apartement with 3 bed and 2 bathrooms and nice paintings. We were there in March. It gets cold in the evening. So Stepanie helped with a gas heater. Stove and oven is an older propane gas operated, which always little bit scares me. Fast and reliable internet is working fine. Lamps in the bedroom with the queen size bed didn't work. One was out of operation, the other one switched on by itself at night.

Furniture is very basic. A big carpet would be nice in the living room area plus one or two more sofas or a really big one that sleeps at least two persons. The selection of the the TV programm is only of interest for Italians. No German programm to find, no really good English programms. So we couldn't use it.

Don't drink the tap water, it comes out of desaltification plant and tastes awful with tea or coffee.

A very clean and spacious apartment with a beautiful view

We were met by Stephanie on our arrival who made us most welcome, even to providing some essentials such as tea, coffee, milk bread and butter. All this was very welcome as we arrived on a holiday for the island.

Our apartment was very very nice, very clean and spacious. The views are stunning from the balcony.

We were there for our Son's wedding, Stephanie could not have been more helpful to ensure we got to the wedding venue on time.

As a person Stephanie is a lovely lady and made us feel at home.

We will certainly be returning as we had a wonderful stay.

We would fully recommend staying here.

Great apartment, good location,fantastic views

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment, the location is perfect, it s only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Mellieha where you will find the church, bars, restaurants and shops. We had no problem parking our hire car on the street outside the apartment and the local beaches were within a 5-10 minute drive. the apartment was fully equipped with all that you would need, well maintained, clean, very spacious and the view was stunning, especially the sun sets. Stephanie was a great host, she lives just opposite so she is on hand if you need her. We had a problem with the fridge when we arrived, which we mentioned to her so we left it with her and went out, upon arriving back she had got a new fridge for us which was great! We would highly recommend this apartment.

Lovely place, great views

The apartment was perfect and in a great location. Stephanie was very welcoming and had arranged for tea/coffee, bread, milk etc to be left in the apartment, which was greatly appreciated.

I would highly recommend staying here and will certainly look to do so again in the future.

Lovely Appartment with great views

Lovely clean and spacious apartment with great views. Shops and restaurant within walking distance. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture and came in very handy as we didn't arrive until late in the evening.Stephanie the owner was very friendly and helpful .Would certainly stop there again and the price was very reasonable

Mellieha is one of Malta's most picturesque tourist destinations. The town centre boasts of its splendid hotels, fine restaurants and traditional cute shops. It has a majestic baroque church ( built in late 19th century ) and various cultural organizations, including band clubs, sports clubs, an orchestra & various religious societies.

Mellieha is also known for its wonderful, golden beaches that make it a unique holiday destination for many. Water sports along with Scuba Diving and fishing or a walk on the beach at night are very popular with both locals and tourists.

In Malta, feasts are a huge tradition and Mellieha's main feast occurs in the first two weeks in September.

Mellieha is surrounded by numerous bays such as Mellieha Bay also known as Ghadira which is the islands longest sandy beach, Anchor Bay, Paradise Bay & Armier Bay.

The Maltese Islands have been voted as the 2nd ‘Best Diving Destination’ at two award ceremonies in London, namely the Diver and Sport Diver Awards.

The awards confirm the Maltese archipelago as the top diving location in the Mediterranean. Winners and nominees were voted by readers of Diver Magazine, Sport Diver Magazine and visitors to their respective websites.

The Diver Awards ceremony took place at the main LIDS hall at Excel London during the International Dive Show, presented by diving explorer and celebrity, Monty Halls.

This year, Malta and Gozo managed to surpass the Maldives and were awarded 2nd place due to their range of exciting wrecks, variety of marine life, topography and shore-diving.

The ‘Best Diving Destination Of The Year’ awards saw a strong category of diving spots across the globe with Egypt taking first place and the Maldives in third place.

Presented by editor-in-chief Mark Evans and diving explorer Monty Halls, the Sport Diver Awards took place at Aston’s Champagne and Wine Bar, London.
