Excellent location & fantastic owner
what a lovely cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Harrogate and surrounding towns yet not too far from the city either. The views were outstanding and no matter which way we went each day the stunning views continued. Jane was an excellent hostess, such an easy lady to chat with. She was always available with recommendations if needed as well. The accommodations themselves were perfect for our needs. Having a little place to call home while on our extended stay was nice and allowed for more comfort and options than a hotel room. We will definitely be back when we return to England.
Wonderful cottage in idyllic location!
Just stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The cottage is clean and tidy with all amenities you could possibly need. The view from the windows was wonderful. A five minute walk and you are at Swinsty reservoir and Fewston reservoir which are both nice to walk around. Jane, the owner, couldn't be more helpful.
Lovely holiday. Great place to stay.
We spent a great week at the cottage which was nicely furnished and with everything we required. Wonderful setting near the reservoir for super walks. We used it as a base for whole day trips to Skipton , Harrogate and the many
villages in The Dales . Super to get back to nature , but
sometimes a lot of driving .
a lot of driving to get back at night.
Lovely cottage in lovely surroundings. Friendly, helpful owner.
We wanted a quiet setting for our break and this was it. Nice walks round the reservoirs. Within easy travelling to lots of interesting places and sights and the farm shops were excellent.
Well equipped cottage
Really enjoyed this well equipped cottage. A couple of lovely reservoirs nearby and also pubs serving excellent food. Jane was very helpful.
