Sandpiper Cottage Beadnell. Sleeps 4. This newly refurbished attractive cottage is a 2 bedroomed, semi detached house in the coastal village of Beadnell. It has a quiet, enclosed garden which overlooks fields and has views to the Cheviot Hills. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is only a 5 minute walk to the sandy, dog friendly beaches and nearby village shops. House trained dogs by arrangement. No Smoking. Reduction for couples out of main holiday period available. Private parking on drive. Sorry house isn’t suitable for divers. Changeover day is a Saturday. This may be negotiable in quiet periods. You may gain access to the property from 2 30pm on the day of arrival and leave by 10am on departure day.

Wonderful Autum Stay with our Dogs

We stayed at this wonderful cottage at the end of October with our two dogs. Everything about this cottage was perfect. The layout was good, furnishings a good standard and tasteful. The cottage was immaculately clean, I understand that the owner cleans the cottage herself and has very high standards. Upon arrival we found a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge, and biscuits on the table. A very nice touch and one of my favourite wines! The enclosed garden was fantastic for our dogs. This cottage is ideally placed with an open outlook to the back and is only minutes from the splendid wide and sandy beaches of Northumberland. We were able to further explor from Beadnell Bay, with visits to Bamborough Castle, Seahouses, Holy Isand and Scotland! The Farne islands are also close to Seahouses. Overall a great holiday and the weather was fantastic too!

Great Cottage

We arrived having had some poor experiences of holiday cottages in the UK, but on arrival the location, the layout and cleanliness of the cottage exceeded our expectations. Whilst a compact cottage it was well laid out and the kitchen / diner / lounge area to patio and lawn was perfect for our needs. The garden was totally dog proof which again was great, and the patio set was perfect for our needs with a lovely view out over the back fields to the sand dunes. Sun hits the patio through till mid evening and is a great little sun trap for relaxing after a day walking on the beach (a short walk or even shorter drive - 3 mins).

There was a nice little welcome pack and note from the owner, who cleans the property herself and clearly takes great pride in leaving it spotless for the next guests. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Cottage was ideally situated. Everything you needed was in the cottage, clean and cosy. Garden enclosed great for the dogs Hope to return again.

Brilliant stay, gorgeous house.

House is absolutely immaculate and has everything you could need. Close to the beach and fantastic pub. Loads of beautiful places to visit nearby. Owner was absolutely fantastic to deal with and couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay again and would 100% recommend this property.
