Clean and tidy, comfortable property to come back to after a day's walking.
We had an enjoyable stay at sandpipers cottage and felt that all of our needs were catered for. It was homely and comfortable. The bottle of wine and biscuits made you feel the owner had put thought into the arrival which can be the a critical time when people arrive, just the perfect accompaniment with a well deserved cuppa!!
The property was perfect! Would 100% stay again.
It was a perfect getaway for Christmas. The Christmas tree and decorations that were put up added a little extra little touch. The house is perfect, very clean and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Lovely private garden not overlooked by other properties. It was lovely to find somewhere to take the dog along. I would highly recommend this property and would like to stay again. :)
Thank you so much and we would love to welcome you again
All the best
Yvonne and Darren
Bright, spotless & welcoming. Everything you could need 🙂
A lovely welcome received from Yvonne in the way of wine & biscuits. Sandpiper is a cosy, little home with everything provided you could possibly need. Great, fully enclosed garden for the dogs. Lovely bedding and comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Quiet location, no more than 10 mins walk to the amazing beach. Great pub and also cafe/bistro only 5 mins walk away, both serving excellent food. We had a lovely break visiting the amazing beaches and will happily recommend to friends and family 🙂
Thank you for your lovely review and hope you come again
Best wishes Yvonne
Only when we arrived did we realise how small this place is, my fault for not reading the particulars properly, one open plan room downstairs, open plan staircase, one reasonable bedroom and a box room. Couple of small niggles, only half a roll of toilet paper, searched for more but gave up and had to buy some, no draining rack for pots and no toothbrush holder in bathroom, petty niggles but we had just had a week in a really well stocked cottage in Scotland so think we had been spoiled! The cottage was very clean and the owner left us some delicious flapjack and a bottle of wine which was very kind, overall was ok but we're just used to having more space, must check details properly next time we book somewhere.
Beautiful, cosy cottage, home from home
Fabulous stay, lovely waking to look at horses in the field each morning. Exceptionally comfortable and clean cottage. Our doggie loved all the stunning beaches, we can't wait to return. Thanks for excellent communication and treats made our short stay extra special.
Thank you and you were very good house guests. Glad you enjoyed your stay
Hope you return
We had a 2 night break & loved it. Very cosy little house & well equipped. All open plan downstairs with lovely garden & views.
Wine & biscuits left by the owner which is a nice extra touch given the price we had paid for the weekend break. We took our Lhasa Apso and really enjoyed Beadnell as well as walking to Seahouse & Bamburgh - absolutely stunning beach with wonderful views. We loved our stay and really appreciate being able to stay in a with our dog - thanks Yvonne.
Thank you for your lovely review. It’s appreciated.
I have a dog myself so understand how good it is when we can bring our pets with us and I always appreciate it when people take the time to look after our house and leave it clean and tidy on their departure
Many thanks yvonne
