This is the third year we have used the property for a week as a base for hillwalking. This year wall to wall sunshine.
Plenty of hot water whenever needed. Excellent layout of kitchen, lounges and eating space.
Well stocked Coop in Killin, good restaurants at the Coorie Inn and the Killin Hotel
Roy, it was a pleasure to have your group stay again this year, thank you for your lovely comments and feedback, which are very much appreciated.
All the best,
Fantastic large homely cottage
5 family with kids ranged from 5-13, loads to keep them occupied and fantastic location!!
Mailin, thanks so much for the lovely feedback, and delighted you enjoyed your stay. All the best, Alistair.
Fantastic house, location and communication
Beautiful property situated just out of Killin. The house was a delight, we hosted a family party for my mums 60th and the social area is perfect for this, large open plan kitchen, dinning room and sitting area. Communication from the owner was brilliant and made fot a very enjoyable stress free holiday! ( apart from trying to walk to killin along the loch and being trapped by deer fencing wherever you go ha! )
Great house for a Family gathering.
Stayed at Morenish for a week with a big gathering of family to celebrate my wifes' 50th Birthday. Lots of room in the house for our party of 18 + 2 kids , we all had a great time and would recommend the house to any one. Great location with plenty to do .
A delightful place to stay!
Morenish House is the perfect place for a gathering of friends or family. The property is full of Scottish character and charm plus has lovely views over to Loch Tay. We were a group of 18 people and we really enjoyed how spacious and comfortable this huge house is. It was warm and has a lovely, homely feel and was kept very clean. The well equipped kitchen was much appreciated too. We would definitely love to come back again. Our holiday here was fabulous!
Hired Morenish House for my husband's 50th Birthday. There were 20 of us in total and 3 dogs. We were met at the house by John who looks after the house and he showed us around. The accommodation was as described and was lovely, well looked after and clean. The mix of doubles, twins and a kids room for 5 accommodated us perfectly. There is an area specifically for kids with books and toys and there is also a games room (for big kids too!). The surrounding area is stunning what with the Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve as the background and Loch Tay to the fore, just a short walk away from the house. Highly recommend this house for family get togethers! Every single person in our party loved it! It is certainly a house we will use again. Thank you Alistair and John.
Hello Margaret, thank you for posting such a lovely review. Delighted to read that you had an enjoyable time, and look forward to seeing you again one day. Best wishes, Alistair
