About Sue Thompson

We love the countryside and helping others to enjoy it as much as we do. We purchased the property in 1987 and have modernised it throughout without losing the Victorian/Edwardian charm. Only 8 miles from Lincoln city gives a great base for shopping, sightseeing or family get together. We aim to make your stay perfect. We live close, but not too close at hand and we are available to assist in any way we can.

Responsible pet owners welcome ( arrange at booking). Stables, grazing, outside kennels all available by prior arrangement.

Large house great for family get togethers

Lovely character home, plenty of room and very comfortable beds in an idyllic rural area. We found very good restaurants and takeaways in nearby Wragby and Welton, good range of independent shops in Horncastle, great weekend with family would recommend.

Great space with plenty of room for all the family. Could be cleaner and could have more kit.

It's a big house and the pool table was good fun. It would have been good to have a few more bits in the kitchen (cafetière).

Owner's Response: We say to all our guests "if there is anything additional you need please contact us and we do our best to supply it". We also say "if there is anything not right ot your liking, please contact us so we can make it right"...we are unable to rectify, if guests do not let us know until after they leave! That said we will contact the guest direct re the clean issue, as contract cleaning company is engaged for change overs.
