In the heart of the South Hams in Devon, Lambside Farm is surrounded by unspoilt countryside and the coastal path is right on the doorstep, providing stunning walks that lead to quiet beaches and picturesque villages. The farmhouse is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an exceptional variety of wildlife and plants, including some extremely rare species that are encouraged because the surrounding farmland is organic. The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, large kitchen, utility room, 3 bathrooms (2 ensuite) and a downstairs cloakroom. The doors from the spacious flagstone hall into the 2 main living rooms can be fully opened out creating a huge open living space - perfect for family get-togethers, a girls' weekend away, or a special birthday party!

About Katherine Harding

The Sayers Family have lived and farmed in the area for generations, with Geoff's father buying Carswell Farm in the 1950s. The family farm was expanded in the 1960s with the purchase of Lambside Farm and Caulston Farm. So the whole farm now stretches for nearly 3 miles along the coast and the mild climate means that our cows enjoy fresh sea air and lush green grass all year round!

We have lived here all our lives and still love it! The farm is set in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty and is also right on the South West Coast Path. The nearby beaches and coves are beautiful, peaceful and full of exploration potential! Even in high summer you can often get the beaches to yourselves...

Beautiful house in a stunning location, the house was warm and spacious with plenty of room for our extended family and yet felt cosy with the aga and woodburner. The house was very comfortable and the location was fantastic. We had a lovely time.

Fantastic stay

We all arrived from different corners of the uk,but had no problems finding it as the travel instructions were very good having been warned not to rely on the sat nav! When we arrived it was beautifully clean and tidy and had a very welcoming feeling! It is a large house but as we had 14 sleeping there the accommodation was perfect. We were all able to sit down together at the lovely table to eat and chat. There were all ages in our party and all were able to enjoy peace and quiet in the fireside room,some watched TV in the sofa room and the teenagers were able to relax in the playroom with the table football and music. The grounds allowed some to let off steam with a football and several walks were enjoyed by the sea. All was accurate about the location,indeed a stunning property! Very cosy despite being a large house,and very warm and comfortable! I would definately recommend to friends and hope to return in thefuture.

A perfect place for a family get together!

Wow! I have stayed at this beautiful house twice now..once for a quiet chillout break with my partner and once for a family get together. Lambside fits the bill for both types of holiday. The property is light, spacious and elegant, well equipped and also beautifully clean throughout. There is plenty of space inside for a crowd. The house is set in stunning coastal countryside and, while off the beaten track, is close to some wonderful towns and villages. I loved waking up in the stunning master bedroom feeling relaxed and peaceful - no traffic noise - just birdsong. I have already recommended Lambside to friends and family. It's simply wonderful!

Notes on accommodation: One well behaved dog is welcome by special arrangement. Outside: There is a large private garden with 2 patio tables. There is also a small paddock alongside which is perfect for ball games! Utility Room: The large utility room has a large sink, washing machine and tumble drier. There is plenty of room for drying wet suits and muddy walking boots! Other: The games room has table football, a piano and plenty of toys for the children! There is also a day bed and a pull out bed underneath. A further folding bed is also available.
