Set in farmland just 7KM from the lovely harbour of Mahon, this lovely house has all that is needed for a great holiday. Surrounded by fields with pretty farmhouses in the distance the property has a sense of peace without feeling remote. The house can be rented with or without the apartment and the apartment is never let separately from the house, ensuring total privacy. The house and its location make it ideal for all ages, for little ones playing safely round the house or playing on the beach of Es Grau, teenagers who want the night life of the port and adults who want relaxation and fun. Central heating ensures a cosy warmth in the winter months making it an ideal rural escape in the quiet season such as Christmas and the New Year.

About Clare Walker

We have owned the property for 20 years and it is our family home. We have spent many wonderful family holidays in Menorca, especially when we lived in the United States. It is a wonderful place for sharing with friends and family of all ages and it gives me a lot of pleasure to know that other families can enjoy it too.

What makes this farmhouse unique

This property has the unique benefit of being only 7 KM from Mahon yet set in the countryside. This means it is easy to get to the fish market and the supermarket for groceries, but also for the restaurants along the port and for the bars for any teenagers/young people who might want the night life in the height of the season.

This beautiful villa exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal, set amongst farmland yet convenient for Mahon. The layout is perfect for a large group, with plenty of space both indoors and outside on the terrace. The rooms are comfortably furnished, with excellent facilities - this feels more like a family home than a rented property. I would certainly recommend the property to friends, though frankly would prefer to keep this one a secret.



We honestly can't find anything bad to say about this wonderful place. From a practical point of view it's excellent - well equipped, spacious, lovely rooms, great pool and tennis court. We took our whole family (from 18 months to 62) and we all had a ball. But what makes it so very special is its charm and tranquillity making it by far the loveliest place we've ever stayed in. It was hard to leave but if we can we'll certainly return.

Beautiful Converted Farmhouse

We had a fantastic and memorable stay at this beautiful villa. The description and photos do not give the property justice. The villa is much bigger than we thought it would be and even though there were 13 of us, there was ample space for everyone. The gardens and surrounding countryside are stunning and there is even a tennis court. It was clean and is the best-equipped villa we have ever stayed at.

I contacted Clare the owner a number of times before we left for our holiday - she promptly answered all my queries and even phoned me while we were there to check everything was okay!

We would love to return one day for another amazing holiday!

Stunningly beautiful house

This house is so beautiful, well equipped, incredibly well maintained and in a lovely part of Menorca. From the swimming pool to the tennis court, this house is almost palatial. My only issue? That we had to leave after a week.

Back again!

We have now stayed at Sta. Maria three times and it is perfect for our large party made up of three generations. The villa is stylish and well-maintained as well as practical and comfortable. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful and full of intriguing areas for children to explore. There are plenty of shops and good restaurants close by although we rarely eat out because it’s so lovely on the terrace at Sta. Maria. We would absolutely recommend this villa and are returning ourselves in 2014.

Menorcan Bliss

Arriving at the property gave me a lovely feeling of both relief and calm! The house and grounds were even better in reality than in the pictures. All the bedrooms are a decent size and the apartment was the perfect place to banish the teenage / twenty year olds.

Being so close to Mahon meant that you are always an easy taxi ride home after a late night, particularly important for the"Big Kids". There is lots to keep all age groups happy from sandcastles to beach parties. On of our party commuted up to Fornells (20mins) for a week of sailing lessons.I would happily recommend this villa to anyone.

Notes on accommodation: Cots and high chairs can be hired for a small additional fee. Outside:There are many outdoor spaces to relax, either by the pool or in the peaceful garden areas. The private, unheated, swimming pool is 12m in length and surrounded by a wall with gates to ensure children can be kept safe. The terrace around the pool is very large and has two dining tables under the pergola for lovely lunch time dining and there is a pool house containing fridge/freezer and sink with crockery and cutlery. There is a separate WC. There is a tennis court for outdoor fun and lots of space for children to run around safely.
