Cottage nr Usk, Between Monmouth and Chepstow, Monmouthshire, South Wales - Peaceful Location At The End Of A No Through Road
About Carole Lawrence
My name is Carole and my husband John and I have lived at The Warren, which is on the same land as The Burrow (W898) for 28 years. Previously, we lived in Muscat, Oman for 5 years and Oslo, Norway for 2. We thoroughly enjoyed living abroad but decided it was time to start a family and own our own property. We love the feeling of living in our own little world here at the end of a dead end country lane. As you meander down the lane you leave all the troubles of the world behind you. That feeling has never left us. Since living here we've had Ben (24) and Josephine (22) both having now flown the nest to follow their own paths. We thought our hidden world was worth sharing with others and hope, should you come to stay at The Burrow, that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Carole Lawrence purchased this Cottage in 1987
Why Carole Lawrence chose Usk
We bought property in this area because it is beautiful and although we have a lovely feeling of space and remoteness, it is easy to get to all the important towns and cities that are needed in modern life.

Lovely cottage in the country with great host!
Wonderful cozy cottage in a very peaceful quiet setting. Carol and John were very accommodating and ready to please. A very nice stay, wish it had been longer.
Wonderful cottage in exquisite countryside, owned by the loveliest couple who were so kind to me
The cottage was so comfortable, with everything I needed and more. The views from the cottage are incredible, and I only saw it on mixed weather days. I'm definitely going back, especially to see the sun set! Wonderful walks straight from the grounds. It's a real find, enchanting really, in a magical part of the world.
Carole and John were such great hosts, not intrusive but there if needed and the provisions on arrival were a nice surprise. Really lovely people. Thanks again guys x
