Lovely property, brilliantly placed for O2, fantastically equipped and very comfortable for 2 adults1 teen and 1 child. Central London very easy by boat or DLR and tube. Hosts very responsive, definitely will be our go to place to stay as a family.

Excellent. Obviously a great deal of thought has gone into providing a home from home.
Fantastic stay. Faultless from start to finish. The apartment is exactly as described in the website - even better in fact. So convenient for the O2 arena using the river bus service. So comfortable and welcoming with one or two thoughtful personal touches that really made it even more special. The facilities on site around the Royal Arsenal Riverside complex are great - from the mini-supermarkets to the pubs and restaurants to the concierge and the other colourful local shops and markets are just a short walk away.Would definitely like to use the apartment again for another visit.

We stayed in this apartment during our visit to the World Athletics Championships at the Olympic Park. Travelling to Stratford on the DLR was easy with regular trains and a short walk between the station and the flat.
The Royal Arsenal area is a nice mix of modern facilities in historic buildings and I felt very safe there which was reassuring with small children. It was also very quiet around the building, overlooking a nice green area with a playground whilst also having shops and smart pubs within walking distance.
We also enjoyed travelling into London via the Thames Clipper on the weekend to watch the marathon by Tower Bridge. The riverside walk also gave great views.
In the apartment itself we had everything we needed and more. We made good use of all of the facilities including the washing machine, dishwasher and games/dvds for the children.
The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to find some cold drinks and milk in the fridge on arrival - thank you.
Before coming, I was a little concerned that over 10 days, we might get a little cramped with 6 of us, but this was not a problem. There was plenty of room and the futon was easy to fold each morning.
On arrival, we did find the apartment very hot and we needed to open up some windows. Upstairs was warmer and we were glad to find fans in each bedroom which we used each night.
Before and after our stay, the owners were very quick to communicate and had no problems at all. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to others and would consider staying here again.

A great apartment - well equipped with everything we needed. Good location for travel to central London and the Royal Arsenal was a great complex with everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and a flexible Sunday departure was much appreciated.

Fantastic Flat in a Fantastic Location!
There are many reasons to love this flat: the owners' responsiveness and attention to detail, the location, and the flat itself.
First, Michael and Melanie are great owners. They respond to inquiries quickly and provide seamless instructions on how to check in and check out. We promptly received the refund for our security deposit after checking out and had no problems of any kind during the booking and during our stay. Michael and Melanie have taken great care of the property and did everything to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay.
Second, the flat's location is tremendous. The complex in which the flat is located is a former royal arsenal that teems with history. My family and I enjoyed walking the grounds and learning about the complex's past (there's a Wikipedia page on Royal Arsenal, Woolwich that provides great background). As Michael and Melanie posted, rapid transit is in very close proximity to the flat. We used both the light rail and the Thames Clipper, walking to both quite easily. The Thames Clipper pier is no more than 3-4 minutes right out the front door and is a great way to see some of London's most famous sights. And there are two grocers within a short walk, as well as an ATM and several restaurants.
Finally, the flat is beautiful, spacious, and clean. There was room for our family of five to stay comfortably. We even had a movie night and cooked in a couple of times while there.
We would recommend this flat for just about anyone, but our kids (ages 15, 13, and 10) particularly enjoyed our stay at Michael and Melanie's beautiful home. If we return to London, I would not have any pause in staying again. We were able to enjoy all parts of London and this flat truly enhanced the experience for us.
