The house is perfect for a family or a group of four people. The two bedrooms, with their own private bathroom and wardrobe, are located in opposite sides with respect to the living room. This layout enhances very much privacy and quiet sleeping.
The wide and well equipped veranda is perfect for breakfast, dinner, relax and sun bathing.
Our village is on the sea front, on top of a little and very silent hill (60 meters over sea level, few hundred meters from the sea), it has 12 private villas in a typical Sardinian architecture. The villas are positioned along the sea side of the hill. This layout ensures to each of them a stunnig view of the sea togheter with maximum privacy among them. Few steps are required to reach the entrance of each property from the main path within the village.
In the village, very close to our house, there is a very nice and scenic pool which is shared among the 12 villas. The pool is generally open from early June to mid September, according to the facility management decisions. No people from outside are admitted.
In the Chia area there are many wild and unique free beaches as well as beaches equipped with umbrellas, beach chairs and snack bars.
Cogoni beach, which is one of the best beaches in Chia, is 700 mt from the house (3' by car or 10' walking).
No smoking is mandatory in this house. Discretion and quiet are appreciated.
We provide linen for beds and cot, towels and beach towels for every guest.
Close to the house there are supermarkets, typical Sardinian restaurants and coffee shops.
The country is wide and wild and you will have the opportunity to discover not only the nature but also the folklore of the small villages and towns here and there, along the coast or inside the country, to discover nature, history and typical local food!.
At few hundred meters from the house there is the Chia Laguna Resort. During the opening season (usually from April to mid September) external guests have access to their facilities with the only exception of the pool, which is reserved to their internal guests.
In the Resort there are availbe pharmacy, newspapers, cash dispenser, SPA, fitness center, coffee shops, restaurants of many tipes, golf driving range, tennis courts, and many other services.
Every year the management of the Resort publish a special Directory for the villas in which there are shown the services they provide to external guests and related costs. If requested we can send it to our guests.

A lovely holiday
We had a great holiday at Antonio and Lia's homely villa in beautiful Chia. The pretty property is relatively small but very comfortable and well equipped. The layout is particularly suited to two couples or a family of four, both bedrooms having separate bathrooms and placed at either end of the central kitchen/lounge. The bedrooms open out onto a sheltered terrace looking out over Chia's lagoon, towards Its five lovely beaches and the sea beyond. The nearest beach is a 15/20 minute walk and all are just a few minutes drive by car. The scenery and coves on the the coast road north are spectacular, whilst the colourful and historic capital of Cagliari is just an hour away. Nearby Nora's fascinating ancient ruined city is well worth a tour. If the property has a downside to mention (or should we say up!) it's the 70+ steps up from the road ... fine if you are fit and healthy and have a cold beer waiting in the fridge. Information and communication from Antonio was excellent throughout and he promptly answered and resolved any minor issues.
It has been a great pleasure to host you and your friends.
We appreciated so much your fairness when you took personally care of a minor problem you have involuntarily caused. It was a very respectful and attentive gesture.
Thank you for coming.
Antonio and Lia
As the title says we had a brilliant time in this villa at Chia. The villa is probably one of the nicest that we have stayed in in Italy. It is pretty spacious, modern and very well kept. The kitchen was surprisingly very comfortable to cook and the view from the balcony was beautiful. But perhaps, what made our stay most outstanding was the support from Antonio, the owner of the house. He really went out of his way to make sure that me and my family was very comfortable- every week a cleaning lady came in to clean the villa and when I told Antonio that we needed an air conditioning in the master bedroom, the next day a brand new AC for 1000 euros was delivered to the villa and mounted in the master bedroom and we did not have to pay a single dime! Now that is what I call amazing customer service. Antonio was always available to answer our questions and guide us on places to go in Chia. I highly recommend this villa, do not hesitate to book it right now, Thank you Antonio for a wonderful holiday!!!
Thank you Johannes. It has been a real pleasure to host you and your super family.
You will be always very welcome in our house.
Merci encore Antonio!
Perfect holiday accomodation
Just returned from a perfect week staying at Antonio and Lia's villa. It was absolutely spotless and spacious with everything you need, and more, for your stay.
The outside space was amazing, offering different areas for relaxing/eating and although there are other villas nearby you feel totally secluded and surrounded by beautiful plants and views.
Walkable distance to the nearest beach (stunning!), Luna supermarket and several restaurants and short drivable distance to many other beautiful beaches. (We went in peak summer season so the beaches were busy, but still beautiful white sand and clear warm sea)
Antonio and Ali's were perfect hosts, promptly answering queries pre booking and then staying in touch before and during the holiday, offering helpful advice and suggestions/directions to nearby beaches etc. The meet up with the house keeper was very easy to get the keys and be taken to the house.
We are already looking at a time when we can return and stay here again, maybe when the weather is still warm but the beaches aren't so busy so we can appreciate this beautiful island even more.
Thank you Antonio and Lia for one of the best holidays we've had ! :)
A perfect place in Chia
The villa of Antonio and Lia is located west of the lagoon area in Chia and has a great view towards the beaches, the lowlands and the surrounding mountains. The villa is surrounded by a mature garden, and is very secluded even if it is part of a villa complex. As other reviewers have pointed out, there is a flight of stairs to ascend from the road below (or you could alternatively descend from a road above), so it is not ideal for people with mobility issues, but we did not find the stairs a problem – and, after all, if you want a view, you must be prepared to do a little climbing!
The villa itself has everything you need, and probably more. It is laid out with a bedroom and a bathroom on either side of the living room & kitchen, so it can easily be shared and offers each party a bit of privacy. The living room has two comfortable sofas, a TV and a blueray player. There is no WiFi in the house, but there is free WiFi several places nearby, e.g. Bar Mongittu on the other side of the lagoon. This bar is highly recommended as a lively place for all kinds of people, offering a great aperol spritz and a view of creative driving and parking in the crossroad which probably would give a traffic planner a nervous breakdown.
We stayed in Chia in the second half of September, which is the end of the season for some of the hotels, but several restaurants were still open, and the beach facilities, too – sunbeds, umbrellas and bars, some serving a full lunch. The beaches in Chia must be among the best in Europe, and there are so many of them that you can visit a new beach every day. From the villa, it is not far to the nearest beach (and if you are lucky, you will come across some of the flamingos) or you can drive to many other beaches. In calm weather, the nearest beaches were perfect, also for swimming, while on more windy days, we found that Spiaggia Tuerredda ten minutes’ drive west of Chia was perfect – it is sheltered by a small island and has surprisingly calm sea. The sea temperature was gorgeous – you could stay in the water for as long as you wanted.
Antonio is the perfect host, always ready with help and advice on the cell phone. The villa of Antonio and Lia is a place where you would like to return. Highly recommended.
Super villa in a lovely area
Spent a super week at this well appointed and charming villa. Such a bonus to have a well equipped kitchen and both bedrooms to have en suite bathrooms. The patio area provides great views and is a lovely place to eat and socialise with shaded and open areas. The small pool was welcome on hot days but there are also many lovely beaches around - really liked Tuerradda, Nora and the local Chia beach. Plenty of good places to eat in Pula, Nora and particularly recommend Antico in Cagliari if you get the chance. Interesting places to visit are the Roman ruins at Nora and the amazing caves at Grotte di Is Zudas.
Antonio was an attentive host and all went to plan! Would highly recommend this proprerty but be aware there are quite a few steps to climb to the front door so may not be suitable if you have very young children or are not so mobile! We felt it gave us an excuse to eat more!!
The Chia area is spread from the coast to its hinterland. All beaches around Chia are universally considered among the most stunning and wild in the Mediterranean sea. The nearest beach is at 3 minutes drive from the property or 10 minutes walking. Despite there are very interesting beaches close to the house, there are many other beaches in the area that may deserve a visit, as well as very nice places in the hinterland. The use of a car is then recommended if you are to discover the incredible places around Chia. The nearest town is Pula which is 20 km away from Chia. Pula is an ancient town that has been transformed into a busy holiday spot still maintaining its old architecture and character. Near Pula is Nora, a wonderfully preserved Roman town of great historical interest (see the famous roman theatre). Cagliari is the island's capital, a great town characterised by a fabulous historical center overlooking the sea, high standard shopping areas and great wining and dining. In the Chia area, as well as in Pula, there are several medium size supermarkets, pharmacy, cash dispensers coffee bars, good restaurants and pizzerias. The area offers sport activities of every kind, from water skiing, sailing, surfing, trekking, horseback riding and quads driving. Meeting point with our housekeeper will be at the Chia Laguna Resort which is a few hundred meters from the house. All information on how to reach the meeting point will be given before arrival. Easyjet, Ryanair and British Airways fly directly to Cagliari from most European cities. Cagliari airport is 40 minutes drive from Chia. Many overnight ferries are also available from Italian mainland coasts to different Sardinian harbors. At your arrival, you will be welcome by our housekeeper. Meeting point with the housekeeper is at the Chia Laguna Resort, which is 5 min away from the villa. The housekeeper will take our guests to the house and will give them all the necessary information on how to use utilities and facilities, as well as every other useful information for a pleasant and easy stay.
