Recently refurbished, this double fronted sea cottage is ideally situated in a quiet street 100 yards from the beach, harbour and vibrant high street, in the very heart of the Conservation Area.

Huge fans of fresh air!
SeaWeekend purchased this cottage in 2011
We wanted to be very close to what Whitstable has to offer and be able to rest in a peaceful environment at the same time. This was just the perfect location.
Calm, authenticity and fresh air.
“Beautiful House so near to the Beach!!”
Had a lovely stay at Bexley Cottage, everything is provided for with lots of little touches. Excellent shower, Comfy beds and everything is cosy and clean. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Bexley Cottage is a truly lovely place, beautifully decorated, with lots of character and finishing touches. It is set in a quiet area, yet very close to the shops and to the port/beach. It is a great place to stay with children as there are plenty of toys to occupy them.... while parents relax enjoying a cup of tea or watching a DVD near the fireplace.
The cottage is very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you might need. We really enjoyed our stay at Bexley Cottage and felt at home as soon as we stepped in. I would recommend it without hesitation.
Bexley Cottage was a very well located property for a stay in Whitstable, it was thoughtfully furnished with welcomed additions of throws and blankets and a lovely sociable communal kitchen area.
Our only negative comments are that there was very little storage in terms of wardrobes for our clothes and that we have stayed in cottages over the Christmas and New year period for the last 4 years and they have always had Christmas decorations up on arrival but there weren't any here. If we had known this we probably would have taken some to make it a bit more festive for the kids.
We had some lovely dog walks along the beach and there are plenty of pubs in Whitstable but the New Inn at the end of the road where the cottage is, was particularly nice to take the kids and the dog. We also went to a fantastic resturant called Jojo's on the road up to Tankerton.
The owners were also very good with communication and got back to us quickly. I would stay here again.
This is in the perfect location to enjoy everything that Whitstable has to offer, right off the harbour and in the heart of restaurants and shops.
Flexible and high quality accommodation.
This is a really lovely cottage - very well equipped for a week long stay with young children and in a fantastic location in Whitstable. I would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely consider going back for another wonderful seaside break.
Listing description accurate with plenty of extras eg toys, books, DVDs, generous provision of bed linen / towels etc and more than just the basics in the kitchen. Clean, well-maintained and excellent responsive customer service from owners.
We had two adults and three teenagers. We slept in the main bedroom, the boys took the bunk beds, and my daughter stayed in the attic. We were all happy with the sleeping arrangement and the beds were comfortable.
The kitchen was fully appointed and had everything we needed to cook. There are two large grocery stores nearby and a few butchers and bakers as well.
They had a selection of movies on DVD the boys enjoyed. There is also free wifi in the cottage that worked well.
It is perfectly located, just steps from the harbor and two blocks from the main street of town. Getting around was very easy. It was a little difficult to find a parking place, we had to park a few streets over. The owners provide you with a list of parking places, as well as recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Whitstable is a very charming and nice little seaside resort town.
Lovely stay in this quiet cottage- perfect location for all attractions such as harbour/ only 5 mins away!
We certainly enjoyed our time in this lovely cottage. It is well-maintained, charming decor, very clean and convenient to both the sea and Whitstable.
The cottage is quaint, perfect for a holiday. The rooms are charming and the ambience helped create a very special atmosphere. The bathroom had all the modern conveniences, nice shower. We appreciated that the kitchen appliances were full size and good quality, we did cook in a few times, quite comfortably.
Owner was helpful, offered excellent restaurant suggestions and literature that helped orient us to the area. Very easy and client - oriented.
Restaurants in the area high quality, excellent food, especially Pearson's and the Oyster House, really enjoyed Birdie's as well. Pub on the corner is friendly and convenient.
Definitely recommend. The only thing we missed was the wifi - overly dependent, perhaps!
Many thanks for sharing your pretty cottage with us, much appreciated and quite special!

Whitstable is famous for its long association with locally caught seafood and in particular oysters, it has one of very few remaining working harbours with a small fleet of fishing boats, that catch fish daily for sale in the harbour fish market.
Many of the towns very good restaurants serve excellent fish dishes, but also cater for meat fans and vegetarians.
