Central, quiet, clean and comfortable Cottage
We loved the cottage and was perfect for our needs. It’s within easy walking distance of Whitstable Town and the beach. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped. We’ll certainly book again, Thank you.
Bexley cottage was a great choice for the weekend. Cosy, quirky and a great price
Whitstable is a great place for a weekend, individual shops, coffee houses and pubs and bars but small enough to get about and explore. Becket cottage is well positioned for the town, harbour, walks. It is cosy and beautifully decorated. It was a fab choice for a birthday weekend. Would highly recommend it.
Very well located property.
Bexley Cottage was a very well located property for a stay in Whitstable, it was thoughtfully furnished with welcomed additions of throws and blankets and a lovely sociable communal kitchen area.
Our only negative comments are that there was very little storage in terms of wardrobes for our clothes and that we have stayed in cottages over the Christmas and New year period for the last 4 years and they have always had Christmas decorations up on arrival but there weren't any here. If we had known this we probably would have taken some to make it a bit more festive for the kids.
We had some lovely dog walks along the beach and there are plenty of pubs in Whitstable but the New Inn at the end of the road where the cottage is, was particularly nice to take the kids and the dog. We also went to a fantastic resturant called Jojo's on the road up to Tankerton.
The owners were also very good with communication and got back to us quickly. I would stay here again.

This is in the perfect location to enjoy everything that Whitstable has to offer, right off the harbour and in the heart of restaurants and shops.

Lovely cottage, lovey holiday!
This is a really lovely cottage - very well equipped for a week long stay with young children and in a fantastic location in Whitstable. I would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely consider going back for another wonderful seaside break.
Listing description accurate with plenty of extras eg toys, books, DVDs, generous provision of bed linen / towels etc and more than just the basics in the kitchen. Clean, well-maintained and excellent responsive customer service from owners.
Nice place & great location
We had two adults and three teenagers. We slept in the main bedroom, the boys took the bunk beds, and my daughter stayed in the attic. We were all happy with the sleeping arrangement and the beds were comfortable.
The kitchen was fully appointed and had everything we needed to cook. There are two large grocery stores nearby and a few butchers and bakers as well.
They had a selection of movies on DVD the boys enjoyed. There is also free wifi in the cottage that worked well.
It is perfectly located, just steps from the harbor and two blocks from the main street of town. Getting around was very easy. It was a little difficult to find a parking place, we had to park a few streets over. The owners provide you with a list of parking places, as well as recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Whitstable is a very charming and nice little seaside resort town.
Special interest holidays:
Whitstable is a destination for windsurfers and kite surfers alike and there is also a lively sailing scene with sailing clubs in Whitstable and nearby Tankerton.
Fantastic walking is to be had along the coastline(The Saxon Shore) and there is woodland nearby you can walk to Canterbury(called the Crab and Winkle Way 7 miles) without barely having to cross a road.

Directions: Take the Whitstable exit from the A299. Follow signs for Whitstable. Drive down Borstal Hill, through traffic lights and under a railway bridge. Continue through the high street until you pass the harbour on your left. Turn right into Bexley Street before you get to the traffic lights. The house is 150m down on your left hand side.

Whitstable is famous for its long association with locally caught seafood and in particular oysters, it has one of very few remaining working harbours with a small fleet of fishing boats, that catch fish daily for sale in the harbour fish market.
Many of the towns very good restaurants serve excellent fish dishes, but also cater for meat fans and vegetarians.
The countryside nearby is great for walking and cycling with very little to interrupt you between Whitstable and Canterbury except woodland.

Changeover during high season = Saturday. On changeover days, check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. However, this can usually be extended if there are no other guests leaving/arriving the same day. Cautionary deposit of £150. Please email for further details.
