The Bushel

The historic accommodation, built on stilts, is composed mostly of wood with slate roof, it has wide steps which lead you up onto the patio and entrance. It was formerly used for grain storage and milling and retains much of its original charm and characteristics with exposed beams etc. Suitable for young couples or the active elderly couple looking for peace and quiet.

Accommodation offers one double bedroom. Ensuite bathroom with electric shower and WC. Open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area with cooker, auto washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, microwave and LCD TV and DVD player. Electric heating. Patio area with seating. Shared use of large lawn.

Delightful southerly views of fishing lakes and fields to Dartmoor on the distant horizon. Peacefully secluded, a haven of wildlife, badger setts, kingfishers, owls etc. Large play area with swings, slide and roundabout or ball games. Clay pigeon shooting, weather permitting - by arrangement. 2 cots, 2 highchairs, 2 fireguards and a stairgate available.
